SaintPatty's Reviews

Enjoy immersive listening with these V-MODA Crossfade headphones. The 50mm dual-diaphragm drivers deliver clear, high-quality full-range sound, and the ergonomically designed headband and lightweight components provide comfort for long hours of use. Collapse these shadow V-MODA Crossfade headphones via the CliqFold hinge, and fit them in the included exoskeleton case for convenient portability.

These cans blow my mind

How Often Used:Daily
I'll start by saying that I've worked for Best Buy for over a decade and I never write reviews. There are few toys I haven't played with to a verdict or owned. Because of this, I annoy myself at how uneasily impressed I am.
Headphones are my pet hobby. I have owned Sennheiser HD595, Etymotic ER4, Shure SE315, Klipsch S4, others that escape me now, dedicated amp/DAC, lossless codecs, blah blah blah, so I'd safely put myself in upper-enthusiast category. I save the term audiophile for a different breed.
Stewing over this pair for a while, since I could never try them in a store and finally ordered them. The only contender was the Sennheiser Momentums, which I have heard and loved.
All of my previous cans have left SOMETHING to be desired. Impedence too high for portable devices, comfort, versatility of use and music styles, build quality, ugly as sin (low on my list of importance), etc.
Start with the important stuff. They are sensitive enough to pair up to a mobile device without sacrificing. They have a wide soundstage, buttery mids, tight punchy low-end, and crystalline upper range. These are not neutral enough to be classified 'audiophile', which for most people is not bad thing. I haven't found a genre or style they don't own faithfully, but they similarly offer a liveliness that I think even the most snotty of purists would have a hard time admitting they don't love.
I haven't taken these off for 3 hours as of this review and they're still more than comfortable. To avoid repeating verbatim the features and specs already listed so I'll just say their build quality is probably sufficient for an accident prone Navy SEAL, but I work in a retail store and go to the gym (occasionally) so check the durability box.
I don't care too much what my headphones look like. Okay now I do. I got the Shadows and the I'm not sure if function follows form or vice versa but they have swagger. Headphones are not jewelry in my mind but there's an industrial, post-apocalyptic aesthetic to these I can't get enough of.
For me, there is not a single characteristic in a pair of cans I didn't get delivered on and then some with the V-Moda M-100 Crossfades.
What's great about it: Their existence
What's not so great: Still at the lab trying to figure that out
I would recommend this to a friend!

iPad headphones

Does best buy have head phones wireless for I pads and available price at Surprise AZ.
Absolutely. Bluetooth headphones are available starting around $50 at Best Buy. They will pair just fine to an iPad, smartphone, whatever has bluetooth. The best ones I've come in contact with are the JayBird Freedom Spirits. They are sporty in design but good for anything. Killer battery life, great sound, wireless pairing is some of the best I've messed with. They go for $129 and your local store shows to have them in stock.
