I love, love, love old school action films, 70's, 80's even 90's. The Lackey really feels like it came for that era. With obvious homages to more modern film makers like Tarantino and Ritchie, this film does a great job of making the low brow criminal underworld feel visual and real. Plenty of action offset the struggles of the main characters personal problems makes this film enjoyable from beginning to end. I highly recommend checking this film out.
What's great about it: Gritty action mixed with a passionate story
