I enjoyed better than Maximum Overdrive

I enjoyed this title better than Maximum Overdrive. Driverless Trucks take over a town. The best scene is when a remote control truck reaks havoc. This is an overall fun movie and has good death scenes.
When you hear the happy jingle of the ice cream truck driving down your neighborhood street, lock your doors and pray to the Dairy Queen that the Ice Cream Man doesn't stop to bring you a cone -- because a soft-serve headache is nothing compared to the pain that this dairy demon will make you feel! As a child, Gregory Trudor (Clint Howard) suffered severe mental trauma when he witnessed the brutal murder of his best friend "The Ice Cream King." As an adult, all Gregory wanted was to take the place of the man he looked up to most, but the terror that haunts him drives a murderous bloodlust that can only be satiated by committing horrific acts of cold-blooded murder. The kids always used to come running when the familiar jingle of the Ice Cream Man's truck filled the neighborhood streets -- now they'll be running for their lives.

Clint Howard (Ron Howards Brother) plays a evil ice cream man. This movie is a good time, lower budget but way enjoyable. Clint Howard's looks fit this role perfectly.
What's great about it: Clint Howard, Evil Ice Cream Man
This movie looks amazing as espected. Hugo Weaving is brilliant in this film. The script is amazing and just a flat out amazing movie. Even if you have this movie on DVD, get this copy here on HD DVD, you will not regret it.
A band of black-garbed bank robbers packs up the loot from their latest bloody heist and heads for Mexico aboard a commercial airliner with passengers on holiday. When bad weather compels the pilot to turn the plane around, the bandits highjack it, taking it straight into a tremendous storm which causes the plane to crash into fiery pieces in a swamp. The survivors include only a few passengers, most of the bad guys, and a pretty flight attendant (Heidi Noelle Lenhardt), whose fiancé in Acapulco hires a renegade professional tracker (Martin Kove) to help him find the downed plane when the authorities prove useless. The rescuers had better hurry: The swamp is the home of a prehistoric-sized crocodile, and she's 1) angry, and, 2) hungry.

Not as good as Crocodile 1

Tobe Hooper didnt have anything too do with this film. Its not near as good as the first. I bought it because I owned the first film and I can not stand not having all of a series. It was a decent film, lots of blood etc. It was a campy in all fun movie.
Tobe Hooper's horror thriller Crocodile comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.78:1. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a making-of featurette, and a trailer. This is a solid release from Trimark that should be worthwhile for any genre enthusiast.

Tobe Hooper did the best he could on such a small budget. This is a good horror movie. Nice effects with the Crocodile, and some good laughs. Id recommend this as an addition too your horror collection "giant reptile" section.
This movie was great. You all know the storyline by reading the synopsis part. Superb dialogue, excellent acting, and a good amount of gore. You will start too feel for the bad guys in this movie. Sid haig is amazing as Capt. Spaulding, Bill Moseley is amazing as Otis, and Rob Zombie just flat out does it again. Amazing!!!

Great Movie too compare all bad movies too!!

Zombiez is a great movie too use as a base too compare other bad movies too. The DVD artwork is misleading. The makeup department and special effect department in this movie was obviously working for free. Your average person that goes out for Halloween trick or treating looks scarier than the zombies in this movie. The props in the movie are very low end. There are also countless filming errors in this movie. I would though recommend this movie for a good laugh and also too have in your collection as a movie too compare other movies too. After watching Zombiez, your other bad movies will not seem as bad.
