My wife had a HP Photosmart Plus for years until it bit the dust about a month back. We noticed that HP doesn't make Photosmarts anymore, so we had to go with a different brand. After talking to my brother, who has a epson artisan, we decided to look at the epson printers. we liked the Epson Expression Photo 830 that was in store for $129, but we had to have $200 to use our credit card so we decided to go with the more expensive Epson Expression Photo 960 which is on sale for $229. In our area we had to order this item from the best buy online site, because it is not carried in the stores that were closest to us. After getting the product we actually liked it much more than the 830. That printer only had two different black inks and one red, blue, and yellow ink cartridge. This printer has one black, light red, red, light blue, blue, and yellow and after printing off many pics we could tell a difference between the 830's photos, we saw sample photos that they had in store and compared. The 960's photos are brighter and look amazing. All in all we actually love the printer so far. The only two complaints about it are when it updates for the first time, and when their are firmware updates, there is no progress bars to indicate how long it will take to update, so you just have to watch and wait. Also the printers power cord is not very long and you may have to use an extension cord.

Everyone knows that cyan is blue and mega at is red. Just because I said it that way doesn't mean I'll confuse anyone!
