Big fan of this system. Great sound. I got greedy and blew one of the speakers already. It seems if you run a laptop to your tv via HDMI, then use the tvs audio outs to this unit, the tv amplifies the signal greatly. SOUND IS MASSIVE. LOL don't turn it up much past 22 in this configuration. My left speaker blew at 27. I found replacement speakers from a unit that had a defective CD tray so I paid the stupid tax that way. If you hook a tablet, phone, or use your laptops audio out to the audio it won't overwhelm the speakers. I have yet to try the cassette but love that it's there. I'm more of an old school guy and these type of set ups are getting harder and harder to find. Reliability is still a question, I see alot of the 240 watt versions of this unit on other sites being re-sold because of broken CD tray(s). For me, so far so good. I wish it had a few more inputs like digital optical and RCA, but rca adapters are out there, granted you have to pay $25+ for a decent quality one. For a shelf system, its still pretty loaded.
