I have always been a Cannon owner, but the reviews, video demos and my chance to personally check out this model convinced me to break tradition and go with the D3300. Prior to this, I owned a ten year old pro-sumer level Cannon G5. Transitioning to the Nikon's D3300 DSLR was not only easy, but I found menu navigation very intuitive and the camera's "?" button was very helpful if I didn't know what a feature did. The vibration reducing "VR" technology on the included 18-55 lens is very, very helpful in low light shooting without a tripod...to a certain extent. There is nothing this feature can do if you're shooting long shutter speeds and exposure without a tripod. The optical viewfinder is a little small, but more than manageable to compose your shot. Where this camera excels is the amount of control you can exercise to manipulate, aperture, shutter speed, exposure and ISO in either P, S, A and especially in M mode. If you need to take quick "point and shoot" style photos on the fly, the D3300 does an excellent job of turning out quality photos that only professionals can tell that you shot in automatic. The lens options for upgrades is more than adequate for the entry level to intermediate photographer. I wish I could expand more on the other features, however I am still learning the basics, but the features I am currently using have been more than excellent and DEFINITELY exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for your first DSLR, you won't go wrong with the Nikon D3300!

I upgraded from the iPhone 4s because I needed more memory. There was nothing wrong with my 16gb 4s, but going up to the 32gb 5s was a great choice. The upgrade changes are subtle for me since I don't really do anything complicated with smart phones. Features I find great about the phone are the bluetooth link up to wireless speakers in my home, the automatic wireless network connection to my home router, and battery life is decent. One great improvement I really like is the higher quality camera on the front. It works great for taking group photos when no one is around to take one for you or if you don't want anyone using your phone. Generally, I use my iPhone 5s for email, keeping notes, appointment date reminders, social networking and occasional sport news tracking. I've never used the face-to-face option, but my fellow iPhone users say it works great. All in all, I am very satisfied with this phone.

Our house is an Apple product place with two Mac desktops, iPhones (5s/4s) and iPad (2nd Gen). This router works very, very well with all of our Apple products and the smart beam technology does an awesome job of maximizing internet signal strength for each Apple product. Our iPhones can pick up the internet signal 20 feet from the house walls in both back and front yards which is a plus. Creating a secure network is easy and very reliable. The Time Machine application is excellent and very easy to install. The only drawback for us was setting up our wireless Cannon printer (if Apple made printers, we'd switch over) and our Sony smart blue ray players was a little tricky. Overall, this is an excellent home use product.

I don't consider myself a PC or Apple faithful and I have worked with both for work and play. I am about performance. I made the switch to Apple because I do a lot of musical instrument recording and my PC/Windows set up was meshing well with my recording software. This is not the issue with this Apple desktop. I am very happy with the screen size and graphics quality. The OS is excellent not only for my recording needs but for other misc. home office use. I did add a virus protection software despite other Mac users saying it wasn't necessary. The only sticking point with me is that like all Apple products, this desktop is pricey. However, you're paying for quality and you're going to get it with this unit.

My wife owns an iPad 2 and I wanted a tablet myself, but didn't want to spend the money on another Apple product. I use this Kindle mainly to read books and occasionally watch videos since I am an Amazon Prime Member. These two activities are this Kindle's strongest point. Video picture quality is excellent and if you have a great router with internet service, this Kindle performs. Book reading is also excellent and my favorite feature of this Kindle is the ability to adjust the light, font size/style and background setting (i.e. traditional white or other). The only drawback is the Silk Browser freezes a lot and is slow compared to the iPad Safari browser. It's an Android operating system which will perform adequately, however, the iPad OS is far superior. If you keep your tablet activities simple, this product is for you. However, if you demand more, I'd get an iPad.

I use this unit to cool down a 18.5' x 15.5' (286.75 sqft) upstairs living room. I live in Seattle where it only hits 85-93F three weeks out of the summer and the humidity is not bad. The unit does an adequate job of cooling our living room down (comfortably keeping the air temp around 68F, however we have to use separate fans to blow the cold air into any adjoining room which we knew we had to do. We selected this unit because none of our windows can accommodate a window mounted AC unit. The set up is very easy, the controls are very intuitive and simple. The only drawback is that this fan is really loud! However, since it's in the living room and sets back 25 feet from our master bedroom door, it's manageable. If you use this to cool down an individual room, you may find the noise very loud especially if you want to sleep. For the price and LGs reputation of producing great products, this is a good unit. I would give it five stars if it was quieter.

This window fan features 2 fans that can simultaneously draw cool air in from outside, expel hot air from inside or work independently of each other to keep your bedroom or office cool. The included remote allows you to adjust the fan speed from across the room.

I purchased this for our 12'x10' (120sqft) bedroom. What's great about this fan is it does an excellent job of moving a lot of air. The counter rotating fans on the exchange setting does a really great job of leveling the temperature in our room. We have a portable AC unit outside of the bedroom and when it's on, I reset the fan on "out" drawing the cooler air into the bedroom. The only hang up I have with this unit is the temp gauge seems to measure the temperature outside the window. Otherwise, it's an excellent fan with no issues since I've been using it the last 60 days.
