Great TV but a word of warning...

...I bought this TV with the intention of hooking up my Xbox One S to it and enjoying some HDR gaming and upscaling. Well turns out that at the time of writing this TV doesn't support HDR through it's HDMI ports, only through USB.
HOWEVER, Hisense has confirmed that this feature WILL be patched in in the near future (as they have already done with the H8 series) and the TV DOES have the hardware to support HDR10 through it's HDMI ports. I have no idea why this wasn't included to begin with.
That being said the TV looks great on your entertainment system and is really hard to beat at it's price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will HDR work on the PlayStation 4 Pro or does it need an update?
Currently the H7 series does NOT support HDR through it's HDMI ports. However, the company has informed me that much like it's H8 series, this tv WILL be receiving this ability via an update in the near future.

How does 1080p content look on this tv?
It looks quite good from my experience. Admittedly you must temper you expectations due to the price of the TV but it's still certainly no slouch and upscales quite nicely.

Has this set received the HDR via HDMI update?
Not yet, but they confirm that it IS coming in the near future.
