you can buy the regular version and get the picture on the jacket, or you can buy the picture disc and save money. the music is the same. only downside is the clear plastic cover had seams splits and yours probably will too. nothing scotch tape couldn't fix.
Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and Jake Clemons of The E Street Band join Glen in covering Bruce Springsteen's Drive All Night, as they did a handful of times on Ed's solo tour.

You know that deep growl he only used twice on Big Time, for Falling Down and Train Song? That's the voice he uses on every single song on Glitter and Doom. It'd be nice if he'd reach back into his 70s catalog, but he just doesn't anymore, so it's an accurate representation of this tour. It's great.
If you are not a fan already, this album will not change your mind. Loose and garage-y aren't always a plus. This album is really just about Paul having fun in his basement, playing around with covers and song ideas rather than fully realized songs. If you want Paul the songwriter, concerned with his craft, try late era Mats. If you're familiar with his catalog and want a measuring stick, it's closest to Hillbilly Junk from Tremble or Mr Rabbit from Stereo. I only bought it because he releases so little on vinyl. Some of it's fun, some of the covers are interesting, but it's unquestionably my favorite songwriter's worst album.

The vinyl for sale is simply the Superfuzz Bigmuff reissue. Still a bargain, especially with free shipping, but this is not the version with the early singles tacked on. Customer service quickly made it right, but the listing still needs to be corrected. Vinyl sounds good.
