I have been using my blender alot to make milkshakes. It has very sharp blades to crush ice. It's very easy to use and the top plastic cap comes off in case you want to add something else to the milkshake while it is still mixing.
I am not so crazy about the weight of the glass. When I wash it I get nervous I might drop it.
I have had this Oster Blender for years & have been very happy with it. After my last one broke, I got the same kind.
