The Best Choice other than Greatest Hits

This cd is off the chain for Lisa Stansfield. If your knew at wanting to listen to Lisa, this is the one. Of course her greatest hits should have all of these songs on them as well. It's just the order all of these songs are in puts you in a great mood for the day~ You listen to her soulful, smooth but playful heartfelt voice and you won't believe that's her on the cover. Her voice is in the category of Sade, Basia, Heather Headley, Joss Stone, a little Alicia Keys.....definitely worth the money. Played my first cd out and had to get more!
What's great about it: This cd is her best, make you wanta move cd. HOT
What's not so great: She needs another groovin cd all the way through like this one. Just want more...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Soulful Groovin Jazz

Lisa Stansfield, for those that don't know has a phenomenal voice that's soulful jazz. Her music grooves to make you want to move. It's great for getting in the car and driving across country. I would put her music in the category of Sade, Basia, Joss Stone, Heather Headley, Judith Hill, etc. I highly recommend this cd and her others. Can't get enough of this music! Enjoy....
What's great about it: Everything, every song, every lyric she sings. The girl can sing.
What's not so great: There's not enough of her on the market today
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun to listen to

I was surprised by how much I like this CD as it is not my normal brand of music, but I find my self listening to this CD a lot at the moment along with a couple of other CDs by new artists I'd never heard of.

We need more of Joss Stone

I can't believe that Joss isn't being promoted to the fullest extent of any labels power. She's got skills with her vocal chords. This girl can sing be it soul, blues, bluegrass, whatever. I really recommend her to anyone who really listens to what she has to say as well. She's between Jodi Mitchell with some Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack and just herself. She's different in a cool smooth way. If you like her you can also listen to Lisa Stansfield, Sade, Basia to name just a couple other artists that don't get enough credit for what they have out there. Enjoy! Love me some Joss Stone anyday....

I love this! It put me in the holiday spirit when it was eighty degrees outside. Mary sings the classics beautifully! It is a must have for any holiday collection.

It doesn't matter what kind of mood your in around the holidays. I'm so thankful Mary came out with this cd. Thank you girl! This cd is everything you need to listen to for the mood of Christmas. The standards that make you want to sing it out along with her. Mary J. Blige is anointed with the voice of an angel in this cd. You will feel rejoiced after listening to it. I highly recommend this cd as a gift as well. I can't wait for more from her. You will get every penny's worth when you buy this one....Every song is great!!!
