Excellent Headphones, Spuer Comfortable
on April 22, 2015

I got these almost 3 weeks ago and I really like them. They are by far the most comfortable IEMs I’ve ever used and the most secure as well. Because they are made for over the ear use, instead of just hanging off of the ear, the earbud won’t come off if something pulls the cord a bit or if you move it won’t move either. I’ve taken them running and they did great (I know, not the smartest idea with $400 headphones).
A few things about the packaging: they come with tons of tips, silicone and foam, color plates to change the look of the headphones, a cleaning tool, a screw driver to change the plates, a super tough case, a braided EPIC cable without a remote/mic and the MFI cable with remote and mic for Apple products. The braided EPIC cable is better for comfort and it’s WAY less annoying because it stays in place much better than the solid round MFI cable. I use the MFI cable for the remote and mic for calls more often though and it feels nice and strong but it can tangle a bit, nothing horrible though. The braided cable that is shown in the Best Buy picture is not the same cable that is included in the box; the pictured cable has a memory wire for the ear loops (which is better), the one included in the box does not, so beware. The remote buttons on the MFI cable are easy to identify and very easy to click; they work great with my iPhone, iPad and Mac.
As far as sound goes, these headphones sound excellent. They are on the warmer side of neutral, so they are not tuned to be very analytical and flat. They are tuned to be fun and enjoyable for longer listening sessions with a non-fatiguing sound signature. This however, does not mean that there isn’t any detail. The bass is strong and powerful and it fills space very nicely, nothing overbearing or bloated. The mids are slightly forward so vocals sound very natural and warm. On the top end, there is plenty of sparkle and detail in the highs to create a defined soundstage, though they’re not the most open IEMs. Soundstage varies from track to track, so I guess they give you what the track has. For example, on songs with tons of bass, it doesn’t skimp out on it; it helps you feel the music. On orchestral tracks, they are more open and detailed, the instruments sound very natural and it really lets you appreciate the music. I listen to Top 40, Rock, Classical, Spanish and a ton of other genres and the W30s do great with all of them.
Aside from a great sound, the other enjoyable thing about the W30s is the comfort. I can actually lay my head on my pillow without it hurting. They sit flush against the ear so there is nothing sticking out that will hurt. This also helps a ton if it’s windy, as the wind has nothing to hit and create an annoying wooshing noise. Speaking of annoyances, I have not had any microphonics with either the EPIC cable or the MFI cable. With either the silicone tips of the foam tips, the fit is awesome and I am able to wear them for hours at a time at work and at home. So, needless to say, that I am really enjoying these headphones and hope to enjoy them for a long time to come.

Great Headphones With Superb Sound
on June 12, 2014

How Often Used:Daily
I got these headphones after researching many different models. I was very skeptical to say the least. When I first put them on, they felt kind of uncomfortable because of their size. The headphone is a bit bigger than many other IEMs so they stick out the ear. I didn’t think they would provide a solid fit and the ear tips seemed somewhat uncomfortable also.
The headphones are made of aluminum and are VERY light weight. They are strong and look like the housing will hold up against lots of wear and tear. As mentioned before, they are on the big side and stick out the ear but you get used to it after a little while. I thought they would fall out because they are so big, though this never really happened. They stayed in my ears securely. The ear tips are all silicone, no foam tips. They come in small, medium and large - 1 pair of small, 2 pairs of mids and 1 pair of large. All of the tips are a bit rigid, and they are tube-like more than oval or rounded. This may be to enhance the soundstage of the headphone. Never the less, they became slightly uncomfortable after long periods of use the first time I put them on. I have weird ears because after the third time or so, they were just fine. The cable is flat and it looks a bit thin but I’m guessing this is to keep it from weighing the headphones down. I owned a pair of Diddy Beats when they were out and that cable seemed thicker and sturdier by comparison but I digress (that's where that coparison ends). There is a piece where the two earpieces split and that is also plastic and it doesn’t scream premium but again, probably to keep the weight down. They also have an inline microphone with iPhone controls. The buttons are a little stiff but work well; side note: the volume up and volume down will not work with Android. At the end of the cable is there is an L-shaped plug to help with durability, so if it gets pulled, there isn’t as much bend. I don’t know how well this part will hold up honestly.
The sound quality from these things is wonderful. It takes a little while to get adjusted but once you hear them after a day or two, the sound comes alive. They are much more open than any other in-ear headphone I’ve used, these are unique. The low end is very clear, no distortion at all; it is very well rounded and full. That is not to say that is overwhelming either; it’s just right. The mids are clear and vocals sound natural with any genre. The highs are also very clear, although a little bright at first; this either goes away or you get adjusted, but they sound great after a few of uses. I listen to all kinds of music, Hip-Hop, Latin, Jazz, Pop, Country, International music, etc… and I must say that the HP20s can certainly liven up any of these types of music. I was debating between these and the B&W C5s, I decided to give these a try because of the Room Feel technology, maybe that’s what’s working here because the sound if definitely different. You do feel the openness of the sound and a wider soundstage, although nothing like a set of over-the-ear headphones. Sound wise, these headphones are a winner and a definite keeper.

LG Tone+ Bluetooth Headset: Gain call flexibility at the office. A built-in microphone keeps you from having to pull out your phone for incoming calls, while voice-activated dialing keeps hands free for other work. When you're not chatting you can listen to your favorite music.

Will these pair with my Vizio TV E220MV7

Your Vizio TV does not have bluetooth built in, therefore you would not be able to pare them as they are. If you really wanted to get them connected, then you may need to get adapters to do the job. Hope this helps.
