For those that's not technical, this is a good security for your home as it have blocked few site access from mobile phones from time to time. Otherwise I would not have known it's reaching out to malicious sites unknown to us. I don't get alot of alerts, which is good. But it's there when you need it. It's also good to know I am safe with all my IoT. It's like knowing you have a door with lock for entering your house.
If you're technical, you can go for business class or professional firewall where you can do filtering of your own, but those still require annual subscription. Cujo offers lifetime subscription for it's updated database of everything (or most things) bad on the internet.
