70" 4K HD for $999? I can't believe EVERYONE isn't buying this.
It was nicely packaged, quick easy install, impressively low weight...
The blacks are deep black, the whites are bright white! The picture is great!
Speakers suck; but they point directly downward at the floor- so how COULD they sound good? We had a sound bar already, so no complaints.
I assure you that only a serious tech geek/TV professional nerd could find any complaints with this TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What is the main difference from this tv compared to the tv that is 1299.00 and I mean besides the price what is the main difference. What am I losing for 300 bucks that the other tv has that this one doesn't. (Model: E70-E3SKU)( 5609000 Model: E70U-D3)

I researched this exact same queston before buying the less expensive TV. I used the COMPARE feature on Bestbuy.com and simply scrolled down to compare all the features. There were definitely a few minor differences, but they were minor enough that I literally can't remember, and minor enough that I bought the "lesser" unit.

Can a universal remote be programmed for use with this display so I don't need to use my phone? I'm not interested in casting anything. I just want to use the display for blue ray, roku, and cable.

Yes i use a Brighthouse universal remote and it works fine. Actually, I didn't even have to reprogram it from my previous TV, which was an LG brand.

What's the difference between this and the E70U-D3 model

I asked the same question and I learned the answer to HALF of the question. The last two digits "D3" (compared to "E3") is referring to the model year. I believe the D is newer than the E.
As far as the "U" - I don't have a solid answer on that, but I believe using the COMPARE feature on Bestbuy.com will help you.
