Remote control is sub par

The remote control stinks. There is no mute button, no numbers, and no "last channel" function. These big buttons for Netflix and Youtube are useless and I don't even know what "Vudu" is. Also, it seems like it takes a while for the remote to "warm up"...once you turn the tv on, it takes a few minutes for the remote to become functional. TV is ok, but I'll be looking for a replacement remote.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
