I've been a user of smartwatches since the first Android Wear watches rolled out in 2014. I've used Google's, Apple's and Samsung's offerings so I have been accustomed to using various designs on a daily basis. The first thing to note is that the design is very simplistic and not going to be to everyone's taste. The design is on par with what I wanted it to be, but your mileage may vary. The main things that are lacking are the heart rate sensor, NFC to payments, GPS and a speaker. None of these matter to me too much, but it's something to consider.
Performance is very good, voice dictation is reliable and the screen is very vibrant looking. Overall very happy.
