I've been a huge fan of persona for quite a long time and I've been so excited for this game since the announcement so many years ago. If you enjoy turn based combat, mixed with a slice of life and some good morals behind a story persona is absolutely highly recommended. Not only is the gameplay smooth and just over all fantastic, but the music is catch and supports the tones of the game perfectly.
Persona 5 is a beautiful addition to the line up and expectations former persona games have given fans, and since each game has its own unique story, newcomers don't have to worry about needing to know previous games just to get into Persona 5. It's a whole new experience for everyone to enjoy!

I just recently finished playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions and I have to say it was incredible and fun. Only a few times did I ever get frustrated and it was due to only something as simple as being underleveled for a boss battle.
Leveling up and gaining skills in the game is fairly easy, however, especially if you've got the DLC content for the game (that comes with the special edition, or can be purchased in the Nintendo E-Shop).
The game play is really quite fun and amusing. Battles are turn based and really easy to get the hang of. It's familiar but different when in comparison to the traits they share with SMT and FE gameplay.
I personally enjoyed both the story and characters. Despite a few silly snags here and there that make you laugh at how ridiculous certain moments seem, I felt like for a crossover game with an idol twist it was well written. You've got all the classic and cliché types for every character in the game, and they use these tropes to the fullest extent in a great way, tbh.
I feel like the game was worth every hour I poured into it, and it left me smiling in the end with its final goodbye.

Great addition to the 'Tales of' Series

Though I havent played far, I've played quite a handful of other games in the 'Tales of' series and so far this one fits well into the line of its title. With some new features like choices, and and actual protag that seems to fit the 'silent protag' feature other rpgs have, it's got a great dash of new mixed with the old. Not only that but it's great to see some familiar faces in the second game, reintroducing members from the first.
If you've played Tales of Xillia (the first one), and Tales of Graces f, I hope you didnt delete your saved data because not only do costumes carry over from Xillia 2 into the first Xillia (and maybe vice versa???) but you also get some little bonus costume items as a thank you for being a dedicated fan and continuing your journey through these wonderful games.
If you've never played a 'Tales of' game before, you might want to go back and play the first one before you take this baby on. It takes place only a year after the events of the first Tales of Xillia, so you wont want to miss out on all the great adventures and information and characters you would miss by skippinig the first one in this two part Tales of story.

What's great about it: Intriguing story line, new features, great old features. Detail on the graphics are wonderful.
What's not so great: the replacement of the lillium orb is a little confusing for the lvl up process. It takes some getting used to.

If you dont already know what Kingdom Hearts is, I truly feel sorry for you and highly reccomend this pack. It's a combo of two games, and the cut scenes and story from a third. The Kingdom Hearts series is a big impact series that has amassed a huge fandom and following with memorable characters both created just for the game and classics you know from not only Disney films but from Square Enix's Final Fantasy games.

A Captivating Story About A Girl- Wait I mean game

In Beyond Two souls you take on the role of Jodie, who's life is anything but normal. It's a great twist to the usual genre type stereotypes you'd see for the things that this game revolves around (vague to save from spoilers, lol). The story, I found, was very entertaining, and quite the emotional roller coaster. You get to decide the little details that go on in the story. The actions and reactions, everything leading to possible different outcomes depending on how the scenes play out.
The game is based to be more of a movie come to life on the screen that you can have some control over. The indications for action can sometimes be small, but it's done on purpose not to break the movie-like quality the game holds as you proceed through the different events.
Endings are great things, though. Emotional, when it comes to this game, but great none the less. I found this game very pleasing and the way they used motion capture to create everything the characters did in the game helped make things more fluid and realistic.
And because the game can go in so many different directions depending on your actions int eh game you can go back and play through the chapters again and again to see all the different varieties you missed through the course of the game.

I'm a bit of a fan when it comes to 'Little Big Planet', with the design and controls and textures of everything from the sacboy to the obsticles in the way of the course. However when I heard they were creating the game Tearaway I got really excited. This game is adorable in the matter of that the little message is trying to make their way to you to deliver a letter. There's som great fourthwall breaking that makes you really feel a part of the game, and that this little world inside your vita is all the more real.
Not only that but you can create things! There are times where you have to photograph things using your vita camera, or create something using the 'papers' and tools and even some premade items to progress in the story, or even just obtain some little side fun. You can create whatever you want and make tearaway a world of your own - as well as customize your little mail carrier friend to look however you like, adding on all sorts of little creations. I cant think of a single way this game isnt entertaining. And by the time it reaches the end you'll will it never ended at all.
But here's a great secret; you can always start a new game!

I've been waiting for this game to be released for us for the longest time. I did my best to avoid spoilers with fan translations of the first two games, avoided things from the anime that were pulled directly from the game, as well as most fanart and fanfiction that contained game spoilers. While I might not have stayed completely spoiler-free as I'd have liked to, I was overjoyed upon hearing that we were going to get the first game in the US.
With such a great summary for the story I was interested from the start. It was such a great twist on the visual novel style games. All these 'super-level' high schoolers trapped in a private school together. Giving them motives that would make them desperate to get out, desperate enough to kill, whcih is what the headmaster is looking for. After givng you time to adjust and get into the game, the first murder accurs, and the game truly begins. They give you a chance to go over the crime scene. You can gather evidence, see for yourself what could possibly have happened, and then when the trial begins, you work to convince your fellow classmates as to who you believe the killer is. But be carecul! You only get one shot at deciding who the killer is. Get it wrong, and it's game over for you and the rest of your classmates.
The array of characters is diverse and quite amazing to put it bluntly. Each character is different from the next with their own traits, habits, and personlities. You can even spend free time with them to get to know them better and become better friends.
And if the trials get to difficult for you the game allows you to set difficulty, making things easier or more challenging depending on your preference!
And if you like the first one, we're supposed to be getting the second one this fall!

What's not so great: some confusion with directions, in trial you have to 'shoot' the words, not the people speaking with 'truth bullets'.

Bravely Default carries the feel of your classic Final Fantasy game. It's entertaining, captivating and all around enjoyable. The characters and storyline are great, and I expect many, many hours of entertainment from this game. Certainly a must-have game for anyone with a 3ds who enjoys rpgs.

Does this come with a PS4 controller skin?
Only the standard edition of the game comes with the controller skin as per announced in Atlus' YouTube video. Any version that isn't the Premium 'Take Your Heart' edition should have the controller skin.

Hello, is there a listing for Persona 5 that is the standard edition which does not include the launch steelbook for $59.99 but instead is the normal standard case for Playstation 4 similar to the Playstation 3?
Yes. The Steelbook is only the launch edition with limited numbers. Stores are already beginning to get the standard copies in stock from what I've heard. It might be a couple days before the site is updated though.

Will there be a midnight release for the game?
no there will not/was not. The easiest way to check for midnight launches with best buy is on the gaming home page for all consoles. There should be a link underneath for 'gaming events'. if you click on that and there are any upcoming launches they will be listed there, otherwise there are none planned for the near future.
