No matter how good my odds are, I can't seem to win.
I purchased this TV from Best Buy on February 14th at a great price ($2,000) brand new (not open box) since the day I purchased it, there was a temporary price drop (it's now back up to $2,300. as of this writing).
The picture blew me away and the blacks simply cannot be matched by any other screen technology. I mean...total blackout with zero light when the scene calls for total darkness. This was the primary reason I spent the extra money for OLED.
But I regret to report that as of March 1st, 2017 (only 2 weeks after purchasing this TV brand new)...I noticed an image that seemed burned into the screen while watching a Netflix show in 4K.
I assumed maybe it was a Netflix streaming issue so I decided to switch to a live broadcast channel. And sure enough...the image remained on the screen.
Then the TV started to go crazy hopping from one input to the next. My TiVo is attached to HDMI1 so I pulled out the HDMI from that input and plugged it back in and then the input issue seemed to work fine.
But whenever I would change the input to one without a connection the 'Open Input List' banner would appear on the bottom on the screen (as it should) and this is where the image was very visible.
As I continued watching programs the image would sometimes be very noticeable and at times not so noticeable.
But make no mistake...the image was always there so this TV is going back!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point. Take another chance on this TV (OLED is the latest, newest and most unproven screen tech.) or try to get the best LED I can get for the same or slightly below cost.
Attached are pics I took of this image. One during Netflix and the other during the 'Open Input List?' banner on the bottom of the TV. You will only see the bottom portion of this pattern on the 'Open Input List' banner image but it is much more obvious on the Netflix screen.
It looks awful and I have no idea what this is or how this happened since the TV sits in my bedroom, has never been moved and has not been bumped, hit, etc.
Hopefully this is a one in a million defect and if I give this TV another shot, I won't have this happen again!

After purchasing the Beats Solo3 and primarily being happy with my purchase I was encouraged by a friend to also try out the new Muzik headphones.
The Muzik headphones have a lot of promise and sound great but in the end I decided to stick with the Beats Solo3s.
My headphones are primarily used in the gym and on a positive note...the Muzik headphones have two sets of removable ear cups. A set of much smaller on-ear cups and a set of much larger over-the-ear cups. Besides having the option which to choose…this is great just in case the dog or cat decides to make one of your ear cups their new favorite play toy.
I popped on the Muzik over-the-ear cups and although they felt and sounded great...walking around in the gym with something that large attached to my head wouldn't be the best option. The smaller on-ear cups look much better for gym use but are far less comfortable.
So it came down to which on-ear headphones (Beats vs. Muzik) would win out.
The Beats version of on-ear are almost large enough to be over-ear cups while still looking stylish and more comfortable to wear than the Muzik on-ear cups.
As for sound...this can be very subjective from one listener to the next. But for me...I prefer more base and full sound than a balanced and less full sound. Both headphones sound great but the Beats are definitely more tuned to those who like the low-end base sound.
The Muziks play a little louder than the Beats but both play loud enough for my ears.
Although I'm giving the Muziks 4 stars because they are indeed great sounding headphones, so are the Beats Solo3. But for my ears the Beats Solo3 are better sounding and a more comfortable fit than the Muzik's on-ear cups.
One other plus for the Muziks are the on-headphone music controls. I don't care about a button that can tell everyone on Twitter or Facebook what I'm currently listening to but I do like being able to have full playback controls such as volume up and down and skip forward and backwards which Muzik headphones provide.
There’s far more that the innovative Muzik’s can do with those on-headphone touch-sensitive controls but I in the end I don’t think I’d make much use of those features.
That said, for whatever reason the Beat's don't give you all the options on the head phones that the Muzik’s do as you can't skip backwards (with the Beats Solo3), just forward, when using the Bluetooth connection.
But that isn't enough for me to choose the Muzik's over the Beats Solo3 for me because skipping backwards is less of a concern for me than fit, form, comfort and sound.
Either way...you can't go wrong with the Muzik’s if you like having your social networks integrated with your headphones along with all-around good sounding head phones.

I returned them but they are good!

I returned them because I don't have a need for $300 headphones. They worked amazing with my Apple TV, MacBook Pro and iPhone 7 I had no problems connecting or anything. Just don't see a practical use for $300 headphones unless your in the music industry.

This makes no sense...

Uh...didn't you know at the time of checkout that these were $300.00? You had to purchase them, open the box and wear them to realize you don't have need for $300.00 headphones!? Good lord!

Correction on Beats Solo3 music controls!
February 13, 2017
Oops...I have to correct something I posted in this thread.
The Beats Solo3 DOES HAVE ALL the music controls of volume up, volume down, skip forward, skip backwards and pause right on the headphones.
It's not as intuitive as simply giving the skip forward and backwards their own buttons but it's there.
To skip forward you hit the center button twice.
To skip backwards you hit the center button three times.
