Season 5 picks up around 6 months after the disaster at Cannes. Vince and Turtle are reclused off to a beach in Mexico, Drama is still working(!!!), and E's The Murphy Group struggles along. While the comedy is still here with some truely hilarious moments, this is also the downer season of the show as Vince hits rock bottom. If you are a fan of the show, you will enjoy season 5.
While the plot is not exactly the most original one for the genre, it is executed remarkably well. This is some of the most gorgeous animation I have ever seen and the fight seens are masterfully choreographed. If you like wandering ronin, this is well worth your time.
What's great about it: Beautiful animation, very well executed story and characters
The short series of Flag comes to a close in this volume, and the ending is beautifully done doing this great show justice. I'd say more, but I don't want to risk spoiling anything.
For the mecha fans, this series comes from some of the creators of Esacflowne and with music by Yoko Kanno. The CG looks amazing, and it is a fun series for a very good price. The biggest problem is that the first 2ish episodes are plot, followed by 8 'Baddie of the Week' episodes, then 2 plot heavy episodes. The plot is interesting, but the pacing of introducing plot points is the weak point.
Overall, I enjoyed it.
What's great about it: For mecha fans, it is pretty awesome.
What's not so great: It got a bit formulaic for part of it.

Sweeping Space Opera

A large, finely crafted, space opera in an original universe. Amazing story, great character development, and most importantly, fun. The kind of game you'll be playing until your eyes get all blurry at 3AM. However, it must be mentioned there are technical issues. Bad inventory management, and more jarring, the graphical issues. While the game looks great, there are many instances of frame drops, texture popins, load times out of the blue, and slow elevator load screens. Even with the aforementioned issues, Mass Effect is a great game that you should try, especially if you were a KOTOR fan.
Why is it that after winning the Oscar for Best Actor, Jamie Fox immediatly forgets how to act? Well, more likely it's bad direction in a bad movie. No character development, bad storyline, impossible physics.
While the carnage certainly had style, the movie utterly lacked substance. While I do not want to give anything away, the 'reveal' at the end is so badly done that it invalidates the plot to a large degree. I also feel Jeremy Piven's talent was wasted as his character spent a large amount of the movie OD'd, or otherwise semi-conscious. Final Verdict: Fail.
