Not bad, but not good either...

Type of Listener:Casual listener
Most Important to Purchase:Sound quality
How Often Used:3-5 times a week
Got this for Christmas, and it was very easy to sync with my EVO4g, laptop and netbook. I've used them several times at work to listen to music and watching video podcasts on my phone. It worked very well when the phone was near my eyeline, but if the phone was placed in my jacket pocket the audio signal to the bluetooth became choppy and sputtering.
Voice quality on a call was good on my side, but several callers reported that I sounded 'tinny' or 'hollow'.
Sadly, I can't recommend this headset due to their limited flexibility. That is what did my headset in today - the thermo-plastic to the right of center split apart while I was putting them on. I believe the 'one size fits all' mentality may work fine for most folks, but not for a 6'3" big guy like myself.
What's great about it: Bluetooth range & ease of sync
What's not so great: Lack of sturdiness, poor fit, poor microphone placement
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Album EVER!

If you grew up in the 70's or 80's, this was the best album of all times. Sure, there have been lots of really great albums before & since this one, Metallica's Black Album, Def Leppard Pyromania, Eminem's Slim Shady LP, Led Zeppelin 4, Moody Blues Days of Futures Past and Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon are just a few, but BOSTON trumps all of them not because it's musically or lyrically superior, but because of the mood it creates.
If you've never heard the CD, get it and hit the road. It's great road trip music!
What's great about it: The best album of all times
What's not so great: Track #'s on Vinyl & CD differ from cassette

Their BEST album yet!

After listening to Gold Medal, which was good but not what I was expecting, I was really jazzed about the new CD, and judging from the cover art, I was really looking forward to hearing it.
When I put on the first track, I thought, "Oh, my god... they're doing an arena rock album..." Then they shifted to another riff and I went from being appauld to grinning from ear to ear. They pulled into a third riff & then the lyrics start...
WOW! This is The Donnas that I've come to love! I've listened to this album 5 times now, intermixed with their last 3 CD's, and I'm still just blown away. Every track on this CD is bleeding-edge rock, especially Don't Wait Up For Me, Wasted, What Do I Have To Do, Save Me, Like An Animal, Here For The Party and Better Off Dancing. They then shift gears for Love You Til It Hurts and Smoke You Out, making you wonder just what these gals are like off the stage...
Finally, they take us back a few years to their Turn 21 days with Girl Talk and Give Me What I Want. They then show their maturing with Tonights Alright and When The Show Is Over.
So, all I can say is BUY THIS ALBUM!!
What's great about it: Everything on this album ROCKS!
What's not so great: Throws you a curve ball at first, but blows your mind!

These gals are growing up...

This was the first 'commercially-viable' album by The Donnas; i.e. it has a video for track #9, 'Too Bad About Your Girl'. While it still has that hardcore, bubble gum feel, the production quality is superior to their 'Turn 21' album. I can listen to the whole album and still find little suprises in the lyrics and riffs.
Tracks 1-4 start the album out really strong, tracks 5-7 are a but less so, but tracks 8&9 pick up steam again and carry the rest of the album. Overall, about 75% perfect (purely subjective of course) but still worth every penny!
What's great about it: Better production quality-still kicks booty!
What's not so great: None

Not teeny-bopper punk

This was my first album from The Donnas, and I know why these girls are becoming so popular. They have an energy that's second to none, as demonstrated in tracks 1, 3, 5 & 13. Unfortunately, tracks 8 and 11 just turned me off - not sure why, just did, so don't flame me...
Some of the songs had a basement studio sound to them, but that's not a slam. It adds to the grittyness that you'd expect from neo-punk. As I've said, it's a personal preference.
Overall, I'd give this an 8 out of 10, especially since '40 Boys in 40 Nights' and 'Living after Midnight' just plain rock!
What's great about it: Catchy lyrics, Great intensity, Awesome energy
What's not so great: not to polished, but nowhere near demo quality
I would recommend this to a friend!
