Read the reviews and recommendation and had this unit installed. The unit functions seem to work independent of each other. When using carplay the ipod skips to next song on list. When you restart your car it picks up ipod at random track not in the playlist you had prior. Navigation is not user friendly. Radio reception is poor.
Phone microphone is weak.
Pioneer tells me that the ipod track jump is normal.
I'm out!
Ripped it out and returned it.
Lost $150. for install. Lesson learned the hard way.
Maybe some can benefit from this review.
