Its got a great picture.
Battery does not hold a charge.
recording does NOT loop. shuts off when card is full.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How long does the 8 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB SD card allow the video to capture before looping?

i have the 8 gb and got about 30 minutes of film.
