This is Neil right after Buffalo Springfield breakup and shows Neil totally different than what the rock fans were looking for. His simple stripped down solo acoustic folk session is a classic and marked a start of a brilliant solo career. Its cool to hear how pure this old seat was....God bless Neil Young
These guys always come through......They approach rock music like they are writing and preforming symphonies. The passion of lead vocals and the musicianship is far beyond most rockers. These guys are truly one of the great bands out there right now.....The amount of material on the DVD is outstanding........
I was kind of disappointed that the material was the same as last album but it is VolBeat the best LA metal band and the mix on CD was better than the original and the Live DVD was really cool.......If your a true fan its a nice add.

What's great about it: New studio mix and Live DVD
Steve Stills voice has gotten mellower and smoother with time and his guitar trade offs with Kenny Wayne are excellent. With Barry on Keyboards its a perfect meld of old school musicians and one younger hot guitar player. "Don't Want Lies" is the stand out song but all are good. The Neil Young classic "Free World" is great...nice Neil let me use the song....Its almost as good as "Super Sessions"

Although they chose Supersoaker as their first single it is good but my least favorite...They rest are thoughtful lyrics and catchy foot stomping beats. It was well worth the wait and we are all better off that they decided to keep the group together....
You can't go wrong with a Steve Earle album. He delivers every time. His song writing is of Woody and Leadbelly quality. One of the last great folk artist around. The Low Highway a great road song. Invisible is an unbelievable song. Remember Me sad but heart felt. Just another artistic venture from Steve.......
This southern rock band gets better with age .There is some real soon to be classics on this album. Just the right balance of guitars and vocals. Good melodies and well produced.
This is hands down the best Rockumentery that has been done. Dave Grohl has done an outstanding job writing and directing this jewel of a story about a recording landmark and the star a Neve mixing board. A must for anyone who truely loves Rock & Roll............
