I've had the Surge for about 3 months and these are my findings. I've compared my outdoor bike and run times/distances with an app on my phone (Endomondo) with GPS enabled several times and they're within approx. 5% of each other. Pulse rate is also within 5% when measured by hand. I do not run or cycle indoors so I can't comment on those activities while wearing the watch. The few times I tested the floor climb counter and step counter and it seems fairly close. I don't recall percentages for those activities. The watch monitors sleep very well. I just have to get used to wearing one to bed. When I first got the Surge (July '15) functionality was limited but with a few software updates, accuracy has improved (to the figures stated above) and additional options added (outdoor biking and standard stopwatch). Sweat and rain doesn't seem to bother the functionality, however, it is recommended that the watch be removed and cleaned after activity. The watch has to be worn snug and slightly higher up on the arm to be accurate. I've always worn my watches this way so this is normal for me and I have never had any comfort issues with it. As for syncing, I have a Samsung Note 3 running Android 5.0 and the two communicate perfectly via Bluetooth. There isn't a lot of fluff with this device. The interface and aesthetics are simplistic by design with few bells and whistles. And that's exactly how I like it. I would recommend the Surge to anyone that loves to be active and is interested in keeping track of their stats.

Customize your computer with this Logitech wireless keyboard. Laser-etched backlit keys let you work in virtually any lighting conditions, while the proximity sensors detect your hands to power on the backlights. The PerfectStroke system allows for whisper-quiet, responsive typing. Featuring a unifying receiver, this Logitech wireless keyboard lets you connect one or many mice with just one USB port.

I was going to take the time to write a well rounded review but it isn't needed. Just reference all the other 5 star ratings. This is an outstanding keyboard which has increased my typing speed and enjoyment being on a desktop. The buttons are probably the best I've ever felt. I love the back-lighting, the shortcut keys, customization, aesthetics, and unifying software reducing the number of USB ports used. This board is well worth the price.
What's great about it: Functionality and battery life.
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

When bicycling on the road, does the Fit Bit Surge have a pause feature when stopped for a short period of time?

time?
There is a pause feature but it's manual only. The pause button on the main screen so you don't have to navigate to get to it.

Does this have stop watch ability ?

I know it will time a run or bike. As a coach will I have ability to easily stop - start or set tabatas?
The software was just updated to add stopwatch functionality (standard or set to a specific time).

Fitbit Surge Waterproof?

I have a Garmin Fenix watch that is 100% waterproof. I am considering getting the Fitbit Surge in Black with GPS. My concern that is is not waterproof and nor water resistant. I do a lot of Kayaking and my watch does get wet. Please advise. Thanks, Ed K
This is a great watch for outdoor activities that do not include any more than rain or sweat.
