True Noise Reduction!!!

How Often Used:Less than once a week
I was facing a 19 and a half hour trip to Shanghai, China! Although I was flying first class, I wanted some sort of noise reducing headphones. I read about Sennheiser, Dr. Dre, and some others. EVERY review kept bringing me back to the Bose QC15. The Sennheiser headphones were wireless ( which is what I wanted) but, you had to be near the receiver ! Well, the receiver was going to be packed!! Also, Sennheiser design allowed noise to be filtered through openings for breathability?!!! That would ALLOW NOISE! NO!! Dr. Dre, was just trendy and still didn't completely block out noise, according to reviews. There were reviews re: the Bose QC15 that said that they were too "bassy" and/or not audio superior for sound quality, but did block out airplane noise. Well, I found them extremely superior in sound quality while watching videos and TV, the bass/ treble levels were extremely well balanced. No hissing or popping; smooth like melted chocolate. And OMG! I slept like a dead person on the plane! I didn't even realize that there was a crying baby in the "Elite" section until I took off the headphones!!! Those suckers REALLY BLOCKED OUT THE NOISE!! I couldn't even hear the flight attendant talking to me if I didn't remove them. AND he was leaning down really close to me!! WOW!!! THANK YOU, Bose!!!
The headphones come with two different types of plugin cords; one for Apple devices, with a volume control, and a regular cord for a PC. It also comes with a jack adapter for airplane use. The case has formed inserts to cushion the headphones and keep them from being crushed inside of your luggage. Again, THESE ARE NOT WIRELESS! You have to plug them into your IPad, or IPHONE, Mac, or IPOD touch, or PC.
But you know what? They more than delivered the two MOST IMPORTANT requirements: true noise reduction AND SUPERIOR audio quality!!!
I decided to go back to Best Buy and get a pair for my hubby's birthday, who was waiting for me in Shanghai. :-)
I made a GREAT decision on the Bose QC15 headphones!
What's great about it: Light weight, has it's own formed case, BLOCKS OUT THE NOISE!
What's not so great: A little pricy, case a little bulky, have to sleep with head straight if you have them on.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great replacement battery!

My sister-in-law and I have the same Canon PowerShot SD880 IS. She suggested that I buy an extra battery as a back-up and keep it in my camera pack. I thought I'd have to order one from Canon and have to pay $60. Luckily, I found this substitute battery for $20 less. It works FANTASTIC! It holds a charge for what seems FOREVER! It slides easily into the Canon battery charger CB-2LX.
If your looking for a back-up battery for your Canon PowerShot SD880 to keep in your pack, I highly recommend this battery. No fears with this one.
PS: Make sure that BOTH batteries are FULLY charged. That way, your back-up is always ready to go!
What's great about it: Holds a charge for a long time, great price
What's not so great: None
I would recommend this to a friend!
