Yet another side project from a Blink 182 member. The album starts off with “Valkyrie Missile” which has a never ending intro to it. The song itself has some okay lyrics to it and some good catchy music to coincide. The whole space people talking in the beginning and ending gets rather boring. Some wild electronic sounds appear on “Do It For Me Now” which accentuates the powerful drumming very nicely. Some of the guitar and bass work is also wild; as always Tom’s voice is ever so friendly and noticeable. “The War” has to be my favorite on the album for the simple fact it is filled with drumming. Overall, even being a die hard blink fan this album just really didn’t do anything for me. There’s a lot of music but lack of lyrics kind of makes things move slow. If anything it’s a really good chill out album.

The energized and charismatic pop punksters are back with an extremely well rounded album. Tying some obscure sounds to wild guitar riffs and terrific drum work accentuate the prolific vocal delivery of some pretty in depth lyrics on “I Don’t Wanna Hear It”. “Circles” keeps the tempo racing along and the simple vocals being uttered in the low key fashion draw your attention. Yet at the same time the music arrangement is overwhelmingly addictive. The chorus is fantastic and hypnotic which will have kids everywhere singing along. Toning things down to a nice and chill feel they deliver “The Lake House”. This song has you relaxing as if you’re just lounging on the porch of a lake house over looking how serene things are in front of you. The band has compiled an extremely well thought out set of tracks for this album that will leave you feeling giddy.

Talk about one of the thought proving, witty and fun albums that will be out this year. Her vocal range is exceptional and rhyming skills extraordinary. The album start to finish is a scorcher filled with abstract, odd, quirky and fun beats. “Smile” which opens the album is also destined to platinum single status. The ever so friendly voice is serene belting out some heart felt lyrics. The beat is a slow crawler but is purely genius as it compliments her voice ever so brilliantly. A truly witty and clever diss track more than likely directed to her ex comes along with “Not Big”. It’s on a fantastic beat and the chorus will be stuck in your head. Taking a lofty and playful beat we get the ever so hypnotic “Take What You Take”. The combination of beautiful singing on chorus with soft spoken rhymes on top of such a superb beat can only lead to a lot of smiling faces. This album is destined for success from a female across the pond, let your ears in on this soon to be household name.

an amazing bledn of rock, rap, blues and more...

Upon initial look at the album cover and looking at the name I thought oh no. I popped in the CD and its still spinning, it’s that darn good. A totally different style of music, think country meets blues meats southern rock meets rap. Did I mention this group is comprised of ten members? That alone is an astonishing feat. “Whiskey” is a quirky and fun tune comprised of an amazing beat and some raw rhymes depicting some of the favorite things down south. Talking about the south, we get the banjo filled, knee slapping “Ol’ Faithful” which drives home how different these guys are. “Hey” is at a super speedy tempo and these guys don’t miss a beat. The instrumentation is perfect, flying thru making the lyricists have to keep up. Talk about an album that’ll knock your socks off, blow your mind, leave you breathless…this is that album.

Ok the people over at this label just have a knack for finding and introducing the world to hugely addictive artists. They have found Panic! At The Disco and Gym Class Heroes to name a few and this is their latest creation. The highly electronic and truly creative energized band named Powerspace. In no surprise the take off with “Prologue: Adam Beckett” and hit outer space with some obscure sounds and even some lyrics saying they are headed to outer space. Taking a term from a group of people who use the term in their cheers the band delivers “Be Aggressive”. Echoing and electronic vocals bellow on top of the rambunctious and wild beat. The chant on the chorus exudes what all those cheerleaders tried to bash into your head over the years. The next tracks title is exactly what you’ll be doing as soon as it kicks on. “Dancing Into The Future” is up tempo and has some wild and crazy lyrics tied to the rigorous and definitely different beat. “I Met My Best Friend In Prague” may or may not be the case. The song though gets very punk alternative and crazy. Stemming away from the electronic sounds and going full fledged rock and roll route they produce a truly captivating end result. This album is fantastic!

oustanding voice...

This young lady is a radiant combination of Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna giving her a well distinguished and versatile sound that instantly grabs your attention and never let’s go. The English Spanish mix on a variety of the tracks (also three bonus tracks completely in Spanish) shows her ability to draw in different walks of life. “Run The Show” is a prime example of the English Spanish lyrical assault. The tempo is brilliant, bubbly and very up beat. The additional reggae esque rhymes by Shaka Dee also add some spice to the song. “Am I Dreaming” is a very pop oriented track with a soothing and relaxing beat. The lyrics are romantic and very picturesque. The hook is contagious and her voice shines showing her vocal range. The heavily played radio smash “Whine Up” featuring Elephant Man has the edgy and hypnotic club banging beat. Elephant Man slings some fierce reggae induced rhymes adding fuel to this already scorching hot track. A slow piano played “Love Me, Leave Me” is emotion powered and sends your mind on a journey while it soaks in the passionate lyrics being blissfully sung. This young lady is destined for greatness and will rapidly grow in the hearts of many.
