Good simple camcorder

So far the camcorder does everything I want it to be able to do. I have not had the chance to view any videos on my computer to really see the quality of the videos or photos, but they look good on the screen of the camera. It comes on quick to record those moments when you need it. It is very easy to operate and navigate in the menus. It is very compact and light. The reason I am only giving it 4 stars is because of the wifi or remote features. That seems to be vary laggy, and not easy to setup. You have to use a third party app to link to the camcorder and it seems to just run fairly slow.

How is the WIFI/remote features working now? Has the app been updated to not lag? I am interested in purchasing this model for those features. Would I be disappointed?
