Wasn't quite sure what to expect. Bought this without hearing it and it was okay. Has a bit a throwback new wave song but needs stronger songs.

After seeing this on a bunch of year end best lists I decided to buy it even though I didn't like the promotional songs that were put out when it was initially released. I have heard some of their older stuff and not really impressed by that so I took another chance. I was disappointed. I don't really like this style of singing and musically it doesn't hold my attention. Having said that, if you are a Clutch fan it is probably right up your alley. Just not for me.

What's great about it: The artwork is pretty cool. Nice sound quality.

I have been a fan of Rickey for years so that does bias this review. If you like great musicianship and bluegrass this one's for you. If you like old school Bruce Hornsby it may not be your cup of tea. Not much to say except great performances and playing throughout.
