I'm impressed with this dishwasher. As advertised it is very quiet during the wash cycle (rated 46db). For most of the cycle, you really can't tell that it's running. There is a countdown clock that shows the time remaining. Efficiently organized racks allow this small dishwasher to hold a surprisingly large amount of dishes. (Did you know that 18" dishwashers are standard in Europe?) The top rack is adjustable into three positions. Two spray arms on the bottom of the top rack do not interfere with plates on the bottom rack. Top rack also has fold down shelf for cups and large utensils. We've washed plastic containers on the top shelf, and they did NOT flip over and fill with water. Easy operation, with up to 24 hour delayed start. Has an adjustable built in water softener if you have hard water. The drain filters are easy to access for removal and cleaning. Does a great job of washing and drying the dishes. As far as installation, the dishwasher comes complete with the fill and drain hoses, and electrical plug; no need to buy any additional hoses. The dishwasher fill hose has a built in sensor that will shut off the water supply to the washer if it senses a leak. The dishwasher feels like a well built, german engineered product.

Okay TV for the price, but picture lacks details

I bought this TV because it had the best picture in the store and the good reviews of Samsung TVs. The TV is okay, but the picture is not great; it lacks details. Scenes with lawn grass are frequently just an area of green without the detail images of grass that I'm used to seeing on Plasma TVs. When the picture stops moving the grass details come into focus. Facial features lack detail that I'm accustom to seeing on an HDTV. I think this may be the nature of the LED 60 hertz TVs. We tried the 120 hertz selection and it darkened the overall picture and seemed to cause more blurring, so I've left that feature turned off. There is noticeable "tracing" of the hockey puck on the Olympic hockey games. I adjusted the picture settings per the advice given by Consumer Reports, but that only made it look worse to my eyes, so I've reset the picture to the factory settings. The colors are nice and vivid. My only issue is the lack of details in some scenes. So, the TV is okay for the price and size. In order to get a better picture I guess you would need to buy a 240 hertz TV, which I'm not sure even exists for the 39 - 40 inch TV size. This TV has only two HDMI ports. I'll probably keep the TV because I'm not sure there are any better options in this size and price range.

The cover on off Toggle feature does not work with this cover on the new iPad. I read that Targus is aware of the problem and is replacing the covers under warranty. Think I'll just return it to bestbuy. Also it is a bare bones cover. Nothing fancy.
What's not so great: Magnet does not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased tvfor my mother. Picture quality was poor and it was returned for a better tv.

What TV did you buy as a replacement, and is it any better? I'm not 100% satisfied with the picture quality of this TV either.

what is the difference between plasma and lcd tv
Plasma TVs are getting hard to find. They have rich deep colors and wide viewing angles. They run a little hot so most have an internal cooling fan. LCD has replaced plasma in the smaller screen sizes. LCD run pretty cool so there is no need for a fan. Some models have narrow viewing angles, which I find to be a problem. So buy a good LCD to minimize this issue.

Are there flat screen lcd tv's with internal dvd players
Yes, there is a good selection of LCD TV's with built in DVD players currently on the market. Noticed a bunch when shopping for a smaller 19" to 22" LCD.
