I was a little concerned when I did not see any reviews after the item sold out a few weeks ago. Got mine a few days ago. I'm no audiophile, but the sound is well worth the price. I have a condo, so the size is just right.

I was a little hesitant at purchasing the new iPad Pro. However after having it for a week I feel I made the right decision. The four speakers produce phenomenal sound that blows away the iPad air. The screen is beautiful. And I have definitely noticed an increase in browsing speed compared to my iPad air. I actually placed them next week shoulder and browsed certain websites and you could really see the speed and difference.

I have an iPad Air and wanted an android tablet as well. Saw the reviews for this from CES last month and couldn't believe the price. Got it today, not disappointed at all. I have had numerous android tablets in the past, this is definitely the best. I still can't believe it's only $199! Fast, very smooth operation, and the sound is fantastic. I don't think I could find a used tablet on eBay that would come close to the quality of this one. It's light weight, beautiful screen, no lag whatsoever.

The iPad itself is a great tool. Bought it for my wife who is now pretty much addicted to it.
The only issue I really had was that I purchased the iPad2 a couple of weeks before the release of the iPad3. I don't follow technology very closely, so I was unaware that the iPad3 was that close to launch. I imagine that the associates at BestBuy knew that this would happen, but I was never advised. I certainly would have held out and bought the iPad3 had I known. Disappointed in the customer service.

Not BB fault

I don't really think you were intensionaly lied to. Apple never really says what they are announcing until the announcement. The vendors on get the information a few days before the announcement. It did go on sales about a week before at BB. And to be honest, there really is not that big of a difference in the new version.

Sorry for the poor typing, I did it late and was using talk to type. BB does not allow for editing. Some other things that I should have mentioned, I think it is crazy to make me pay $130 for the Smart Cover and separate back case. On my first IPad Air this was one piece for about $60. Also all I needed was 64 gb, but was forced to get the 128gb. I bought a complete Smart Cover with back from Amazon for $14. It works great.

I have owned and used the Thonet & Vander Kurbis speakers for two weeks and they are awesome. I use them with my tablet, laptop, cell phone and believe it or not a small battery operated radio I'm using in my kitchen with a small Bluetooth speaker connected via 3.5mm cord.
Every time I use the speakers they seem to sound better and better without the need to turn the volume all the way up. But I bought these speakers to use in my kitchen so I can turn them up and rock-out! I've tracked these speakers through another online vendor and Best Buy to see what people were saying across the board. The Kurbis speakers are loved by many. I appreciate that I can adjust the treble and the bass. That is not always an option on Bluetooth speakers.
I am enjoying the sound from all my devices with these speakers. I still can't believe how great the battery operated radio sounds through these speakers. I didn't use the speaker cord that came with the Kurbis speakers. I have some extra Monster speaker wire that I used with my speakers in the living room.
If I may I would suggest not using the wire that comes with the speakers. Buy some really good speaker wire and notice the difference in sound. Better wire, better sound. I have done this little trick for over 25 years of hooking up speakers and stereo systems.
Thank you Best Buy for the great one day only price. At half price they were a steal! I ordered mine within an hour after they went on sale and they sold out before noon! A happy girl here, rockin' in the kitchen!!

Use better wires??

In your comment you suggested to use a better speaker wire. But there is only one wire leading to the right speaker. Will it only help the sound of the right speaker?

How is the volume on it?
How is the volume on it? I just bought one and the volume doesn't seem to go very loud on either the speakers or while using earbuds.
I wrote a 5 star review too soon! The sound is bad! Very low, seems to originate from the Dolby app. Maybe that is why initially I did not have an issue with the sound. After using it on various media types, found that I had to always adjust the Dolby app to get a good sound level. Brought it back and got the Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 10.1, much better sound with front facing speakers!
