I like them, but need to exchange for new pair

Haven't really had a chance to fully utilize these. I am using them as the rear surrounds. I mounted them, hooked them up, turned the system on and...one of them didn't work. I ran the auto-calibration feature on the reciever, then it worked...for about 10 minutes. Tried it again and same thing. So, I returned them at the store and am waiting for new pair to arrive. When both worked, I liked what I heard.
Even with the defective product, I'm a new fan of BIC products. I feel like they are the best quality to price ratio out there.
What's great about it: Size
What's not so great: One speaker didn't work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This center-channel speaker features two 5-1/4" polymer-coated woofers and a 1/2" poly dome tweeter for a full range of sounds and 80Hz - 20kHz frequency response for faithful sound reproduction.

I really like this center speaker. In an older system I had a small center that was pretty weak. This one is big...had to adjust shelves to accomodate it. I like the power that the BIC has. You can really hear it along with the other speakers. I have 5 BICs for my new system (new Yamaha reciever too) and I love it. Good, clear, quality sound from all of them.
The only issue is that the speaker arrived with a defect. I'm not sure how much it effects the sound. When I took the grill off, I noticed that the material in the tweeter is somewhat creased. The sound quality doesn't seem to be effected, I can still hear the highs,,,but it still kinda bothers me. It's past the return timeframe, so I'm going to keep it.
Overall, I would highly recommend BIC products for someone who is looking for high quality sound with a reasonable price.
