It really doesn't work... Really...

I wish I could give it more than one star because, in my opinion, the rest of it is fine. It's a home device, and for that, it actually does quite a lot. There are a couple of quirky things that make no sense (like the prompts for changing the admin password is totally beyond comprehension), but that's not the issue.
The issue is that a great idea, and a great company, put out a product that's a bloody disaster.
My experience matches so many others. Works great, then stops. Once it stops, it's about as useful as an AMC Pacer (sorry Pacer enthusiasts :-).
Mine started failing by the wireless component simply disintegrating. It stopped working all of a sudden, but not for every device. But if you could connect, it wouldn't necessarily pass you through to the WAN. If you couldn't connect, the failure would be unreachable device, no response or your PSK is wrong (it's not). After hours tweaking it and coaxing it (to the point of removing all security and threatening it with bodily harm), the wireless came back to life (but I also had to rename the SSID... Huh?)
This was a short-lived victory (if you can call it that) since after that, it went to the next level and started dropping the entire cable connection multiple times per day. The only recovery is to pull the power and let it reconnect. Then you have internet for anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Unacceptable even if you didn't have electricity.
No chance for redemption, and the dream of the space and outlet savings of an all-in-one is toast. replacement will be a stand-alone modem that has reliability (like it's Motorola brother) and a router like a Netgear.
What's great about it: Concept is great, features are complete.
What's not so great: Charlie Sheen appears more stable right now than this device. :-(
