Gotta love the picture quality of this blu-ray version of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. But the title could be made more concise--typical negligence by a foreign film studio..
Although sentiments is a big selling point of this movie, the scene I like most in the movie is when the police charges the apes. Waiting for the sequel to come on screen soon!
The movie, although is not one that starts well and ends well, but I can see the efforts made by the directors. And it does remind me of the gamers-loved FPS game Call of Duty 4.
I just wish there could be more horror movies devoting to such topics.
These glasses are great. They fit perfectly around my face and offer a better 3d experience rather then watching with movie theater glasses. Also they are packed very nicely and come with a neat case . Overall they are well worth the money and for what your paying the quality is great .
This make me believe in good things in our life again. It is what Disney aims to do for every one of us since its foundation. And I have to say that they succeeded this time again.
Go buy this movie for your family to watch. I'm not going to spoil the experience. But rest assured that you'll be taken good care of by the magic hands of Disney!

What's great about it: Character building and cinematography
It got too religious close to the end. But on the upside, Uma Thurman is gorgeous in the movie. I could see why Ethan Hawke got together with her.
The cinmatography is quite great and the picture is rendered very conceptual. But like I said , it went into the religious dead end which I could not appreciate.
Fans of Jumanji who own the original DVD release might want to sell off that old copy and look for the newer special edition. Once again, the picture is outstanding, maybe even reference quality. It is alive with color, while the dark scenes look perfectly natural, without any noticeable grain. The sound is problematic, as the dialogue is recorded lower than the music and sound effects. This means continuously raising and lowering the volume. For the most part, however, the extras make up for any inconsistencies. Though far from the best, they are plentiful. First up is an audio commentary track, not from the director or actors, but from the real "stars" of the film -- the visual effects crew. They create a track about the technical details while trying to keep it as uncomplicated as possible. In addition, there are three featurettes. The longest, a 20 minute "making of" documentary, has some interesting interviews, but little behind-the-scenes footage. The other two, one on the visual effects and the other on the production design, are shorter, but still appealing for those interested in an effects-laden picture such as this. A small storyboard section allows the viewer to look at drawn images of specific scenes while watching a smaller window with the final results. A brief photo gallery rounds out the main supplemental material. There are talent files and theatrical trailers for this film as well as for Madeline and Matilda. While certainly not the greatest special edition ever produced, this will no doubt please fans that enjoyed the film.
It is one of those movies that are perfect for some family time spent with your kids or the younglings in your family. It combines the fun of a board game night and that of a movie night into that 100-minute ride.
The director's execution of the film is very engaging. The DVD also comes with tons of bonus features and valuable documentation files about the movie. I'm thinking of maybe purchasing the bluray copy too in the future.
