More than I expected

I live in an old Brooklyn apartment with hard wood floors.. I could sweep and swiffer 20 times a day and still see tons of dirt on my socks. So I decided to look for a vacuum that would do the work I couldn't with a broom. I have always wanted a DYSON but thought they were too pricey. But after months of research, I thought it would be worth the investment. So I purchased this one. It did not disappoint. I could not believe It. Because I swept the floor first. Then vacuumed to see if anything would be left for the vacuum to pick up. I was SHOCKED at how much dirt and dust was in the canister.
The only "CON" I have is that it is really noisy and the floor feels like its vibrating. But that's probably just because of the powerful motor.
Other than that, it is powerful and does everything it says. I even noticed I am not sneezing as much. So it must really be getting the dust caught in the floor boards that the broom is pushing into that spot.
Just buy it..
