I know this is not one of the favorites of most Quentin Tarantino fans but if you watch it carefully you will enjoy the subtleties and well developed story. This is one of the best Elmore Leanord adaptions for film ever (even better than the different genre film "Get Shorty"), only television's Justified has done a better job of taking the frame of an Elmore L story and building a well crafted house. Robert DeNiro as you haven't seen him before is worth the price of the blu ray alone but Robert Forster and Pam Grier are great in this and their acting probably beats him out, but only by a hair. A must have for any E.L. or Tarantino fan.
2 good, well written films for the price of one, American History X has some violent scenes but is also a well written film about redemption. History of Violence has some solid acting and a well written script.
The treacherous Batiatus (John Hannah) plots to vanquish his father Gannicus (Dustin Claire and seize The House of Batiatus in this release of the epic mini-series preceding Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
Hey this show is a bit over the top but it's well shot, the scripts flow from season to season. The acting some of the actors are better than others but a hundred times better actors than anyone in any of the Twilight films.
This is a good deal for 2 well made blu rays. But Jesse James was an underated film for it's time and only now is being appreciated. Well written, well shot and well acted. Casey Afflleck at his best, and Brad Pitt with an excellent supporting cast. Wyatt Earp not Kevin Costner's best work but still a well crafted film historically accurate with some sections of well crafted dialogue.
This is the best of all the Bond series, and yes I am also referring to Sean Con. Yes he was great and solid, a well rounded actor but the new Bond films with Daniel Craig are even better. The mid Bond films especially anything with Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton dont even hold a candle to this film or the other 2 Craig films. Bond fan, action fan? Than get this film you wont be sorry.

What's great about it: The acting, the action and most of the plot.
What's not so great: Slot at a few points but well written a far leap from the cheesy 70's and 80's and 90's Bond films.
As a veteran and former Government employee who now works at a studio level in Hollywood, I didn't expect such a honest portrayal from such a hypocritical Hollywood liberal as Bigelow, except for the very way over the top portrayal of the CIA's rendition and water boarding program the film was well done. (Of course this is the same director who showed K. Reeves surfing goofy foot and then regular foot in the very next scene in Point Break so facts are not exactly her fortay). Surprisingly other than the waterboarding scenes this film stuck pretty true to the facts and the actual events that unfolded to find and bring down Osama. Legitimate portrayal of how the govt and military do work at this level. Excellent cinematography and solid acting. Worthy of owning and more than one view.
Good film, not one of his greatest I actually liked Inglorious better and I'm a big fan of his first sold script True Romance. But this is exactly what you would expect from a scholar of B Movies and Spaghetti Westerns, a modern twist on the classic 60's westerns. Worthy of owning and worth more than one view.
