Internet Connectable?No
I'm really enjoying my new TV. No complaints about the picture or sound. I just wish I had spent the extra $150 or so to get a Smart TV. I connect my computers to the TV and the HDMI cord with an adapter only worked for a little while... now I'm in the market for a wireless display adapter, which will cost me a little under $150 anyway.
Live and learn. If you'd like to connect the computer to the TV to play youtube and other online content quite a bit, pay the extra money for a Smart TV. Otherwise, this is a good buy.
Oh, I also got it on sale for $499 and used a free $30 gift card Best Buy previously gave me, bringing the cost to only $469... Sweet!

What's not so great: It's not a Smart TV

Broke down after 3 weeks...

The adapter worked fine for about 3 weeks. I was using it to connect my MacBook Air to a flat screen because I watch most of my "tv" via the internet. Maybe it can't handle daily use. It began displaying static, cutting in and out, and just stopped carrying the signal all together. I ensured that both the tv and the HDMI cable were working.
The adapter will be returned.

What's great about it: It's small and makes multitasking with split screens convenient.
What's not so great: It broke down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
