Built to go the distance. Trainer for iPod nano starts with a wide, stretch armband that adjusts to fit arms up to 19 inches in circumference. A slide-ring adjusts the band to fit then holds it in place. Trainer has a lightweight windowed case to hold your iPod. The perforated case frame is backed with sweat-wicking neoprene, allowing airflow to keep things cool and comfortable. A transparent touch-through window provides access to your Multi-Touch display, so you can adjust volume, navigate playlists, and control your iPod. Keep your iPod protected no matter what the trail or road throws at you, with a Trainer armband.

Not good for exercise

Previously, we bought 2 of the Incase armbands for our new Ipod nanos (7 gen), and found them worthless for use while exercising. I bought one of these next. The good points: the iPod fits inside much better than the Incase, the armband is nice and long, the case seems well made. But the bad news: there is a big slit in the back, to get the iPod in and out. The opening lies directly against your arm, and if you exercise, sweat will get inside and all over your new iPod. Fail. This one feature ruins this case, unless you're going to wear it around the house or somewhere that won't make you perspire. By the way, this also has a design flaw in that there is no way to adjust the volume without removing the iPod from the case. it's true that under "music", there is a volume controller on the screen, so you don't have to use the button on the side. However, if you use "Nike" like I do, then you set the volume and you're stuck with it for an entire run or workout. Nike doesn't have a volume slider on the screen.
I have to wonder if anyone from these companies actually takes one of these out for a run before they sell them. At least this time, I didn't buy 2.
I completely rusted out a previous iPod using a case with a similar design. Sweat got in the case and within months, ruined the iPod.
What's great about it: armband long enough, iPod fits well
What's not so great: slit in the back will allow sweat in case and on iPod
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
