Very slim but effective

I got this one day before a long trip to EU. As I didn't know what access to power I'll have there, I stopped by bestbuy and grabbed this product. The price was fair for the charging capacity.
This back-up is very useful. It fully charged my Samsung SIII and also my Tab 3 8". I like the way how it works and the very slim size. Very often, I charge it while it is charging another device by connecting it in series with the Charger and the device to charge. It works very good like that.

Nice for everyday use

I got this laptop to use it as a portable 2 in 1. Just like a surface with attached keyboard. I was really amazed with the speed and performance of this small machine. The battery is doing well. The keyboard is super good and the touch pad as well. Nothing really bad about the laptop as computer. The touch screen is really nice and responsive. Some people complain about the wifi and some other stuff... I don't know why! I have no issue with that. The problem usually with McAfee when installed on all Lenovos computer.. Just remove it and life will get better.
About win 8.1, I don't see anything wrong with it. I've been using it on my i7 laptop and now on this one. The performance is slightly different but you can live with it.
The only thing I don't like about this laptop is the weak body structure. I've seen some of them warped because of harsh usage. When you put it on a flat surface, you would notice some mis-alignment of the structure. Easy to re-adjust though but still.. Well, that's what you get for what you pay...
Overall, not a bad choice. I'd say better than a chromebook that I was planning to buy. Don't get me wrong Chromebook lovers, it is a good concept and machine indeed but with some extra money, I don't mind to have a MS surface which is this Lenovo.

Great product for the price

We got this to replace an old vacuum cleaner that we had around for a while. I was specifically looking for a Canister type vacuum cleaner. The suction power is great. The vacuum cleaner is doing the job very well without the "a lot of noise". The only thing that you may not like about it is the size of the dirt container! But well, this is not a big issue any ways.

What's not so great: Needs to have more accessories for different surfaces, small container.

Why did you rate it 2 stars if you are not reviewing the Chromebook!? How come it is the Chromebook fault if your family have Iphones? Go get the overly priced apple then... But don't write a review at all...

i had a very hard time finding a good laptop at Best Buy. Usually, the customer service is great. But last night, the customer service reps were more concerned with sitting down, texting and hanging out instead of helping customers. The sales associated ( brooklyn location) convinced me this was a good laptop (blowing me off). I left that location and went to another Best-Buy further away from my house. I end up purchasing the same laptop at this location from the supervisor. After i make it home, i open and set up this laptop, it crashed 4 times back to back. The screen has been unresponsive 4 times now. After 5 minutes of using it, i had so much spam on my computer, i couldn't read my email. Theres so much bloat wear on this computer it isn't funny. Its very glitchy. I've never owed nor used Lenovo products. I don't think i will ever buy another one. i'm very dissatisfied with this purchase and with Best Buy. I will be returning it later on today. A SAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!

I think you should focus on the laptop. That's why someone like me making a decision on purchase is spending time reading comments and reviews. As for the spam mail, I don't see how the laptop is the cause of your spam!? Also, you still have time to return it / exchange it...

Great computer, very thin. The one complaint that I have so far is that the battery is built in to the computer and not easily removable. This wont matter unless it begins having battery issues like every other laptop I've owned. So far so good.

I have some laptops with non-removable batteries. I never had issues with them so far. My IdeaPad is over 2 years old and is working perfectly. The built in battery make it more solid and less pieces to remove. I like the idea of uni-body!

Just got this labtop a few days ago. It keeps freezing every time I play on it. It says- 'Your PC ran into problem and needs to restart..." Maybe I've got a faulty one. Any ideas what could be done to fix this problem?
Another disappointment is that battery has only an hour and fifteen minutes of game time.
At this point I'm thinking to return it.

Does the computer "sleep" well? i.e. can you close it and re-open to where you are without having to completely shut down or log off easily
I don't shut it down at all. I keep it all the time on. When I am not using it, I just close the screen. When I am back I just open the lid and continue working...

Sanitize light remains on
The sanitize light remains on after the wash cycle has completed. The light does not turn off until the door is opened or the power button is turned off, why doesn't it turn off when the wash cycle is finished?
To remind you that the last washing cycle was a sanitize wash so the dishes may be hot. I like this feature.

What is the life expectancy of the battery (in years)?
I am considering the 11.6 Yoga 2 model and the Sony 14 inch 2 in 1 i3 tablet. I am trying to see which will be the better buy in the long run.
It depends on the usage habit. Usually my laptop batteries last for at least 4 to 5 years. Not talking Asus here. Asus batteries last for 2 years only.

Why the system clock always slow down?
The system clock always slow down after hours of use. I searched up on the internet, it seems like the battery for CMOS need to be replaced. Is that common for NEW machines? Can BestBuy fix it for me?
Just a suggestion (based on DELL issues) try to update the BIOS. Dell laptops have a famous problem with the BIOS clock getting behind the windows clock.
If you mean by "clock" the CPU speed, I don't feel that at all. Using the Lenovo Yoga for some really power requiring applications and still can't complain about the laptop performance.
I love this Yoga that much that I am getting an SSD for it soon.

Does this have a hybrid hard drive?
I'm confused - on the Lenovo website the yoga 2 11 comes with a hybrid hard drive, but the one on the best buy website does not - is that correct?
No hybrid hard drive found on mine. Got it from BestBuy.
