Great Value, beautiful picture.

I guess the only bad thing that I can say about this TV is the lack of capabilities of the physical remote control, and slight trouble setting up the Chromecast feature. Other than that, it has everything I need and want.
I primarily stream from a Roku Premiere+ box, with occasional Chromecast. 4K is beautiful, although there's still not a lot of content out yet. Sound is adequate, although I must admit I'm not really an audiophile.
What I specifically love about this TV is that although the physical remote isn't very capable, the virtual remote on the Vizio Smartcast app is. It allows me to turn on/off the set, adjust volume, change input, and adjust picture settings. Using a Roku player, this is very convenient. Instead of needing both the Roku remote and TV remote, I just use my iPhone and switch between the Roku app remote and the Vizio app remote. Easy peasy.
Also, love that I can Chromecast without having to manually switch input; it just automatically switches for you when you hit that cast button on your phone.
However, it has happened more than once where the Chromecast feature is disconnected from my home network, prompting me to pair it again. This is an inconvenience.

BASS, BASS, AND MORE BASS!
Got these on sale for $99...best bang for your buck for BT headphones. Sound quality is great. They compare to Bose, and blow the Beats by Dre out of the water. I'd say they are on par with Bose; Bose has better clarity and high/mid end, but these Sony headphones absolutely kills the competition with low end. That is why I love these headphones; the bass is what I'm looking for when I'm working out.
As far as working out, these are great. They stay on your head. I went on a 3 mile jog and had to adjust them very minimally; I'd say the same amount that I adjust my Jaybird Bluebuds X...which are earbuds designed for workouts.
2 things I don't like: 1) They're not sweat proof...no biggie, I paid $12 for a 2 year protection plan. 2) They are huge! Noticeably bigger than the Beats Solo 2...mainly due to the extra thick cushion that adds to the comfort and sound. I think I would have preferred a thinner cushion bc it draws a lot of attention as it is now.
Random things I like: 1) Phone/media player control rocker switch. This is nifty. Where it's located, it's real easy to access and slide to control tracks/answer calls. 2) Battery life on these headphones is great. It's rated at 20 hrs, which I haven't tested yet, but it seems like it's been a real long time since last charge. My Jaybirds only last about 4 hrs when it was advertised for 8 hrs. 3) The ear hole in the cushion is large so that your whole ear lobes fit into it. This prevents slip off, and allows more comfort. 4) NFC connectivity allows you to just tap a compatible NFC device to connect it.

Decent build overall, needs panhead

Solid monopod for the price. Easy to use, nice that it came with a carry bag. One thing to note is that I recommend getting a panhead adapter for this monopod because after mounting my polycarbonate Canon Rebel body onto it for the first time, there were scratches left from plastic head.
Overall, this is a good budget monopod. There are comparable monopods out there for a lower price (i.e., Dolica WT-1003 for $15 @ Newegg & Amazon) but I've seen worse models than this Sunpak.

Great looking camera bag w/ some nice features.

Great discrete looking bag. Top quality that you would expect from Manfrotto, with adequate padding all around and thick canvas/nylon-ish material. I feel confident having my gear in here.
Tag says that it will only fit compact system or small DSLR cameras, but I think you can fit even a large full frame body in there with 2 detached lens. The compartment is that wide and deep.
Speaking of which, I feel it needs more dividers, as the way the dividers are designed is rather awkward and does not use the space efficiently. There are 2 dividers, but only one side of the bag is lined with soft felt material so that you can stick the velcro divider on. I currently carry in the compartment: 1 Rebel SL1 body with 40mm pancake lens attached, 1 kit lens, 1 55-250mm zoom lens, 1 collapsing rubber hood, 1 batter charger. I can definitely fit more gear if dividers were set up better.
Perks of the bag is that I can fit my 12" Chromebook in the tablet slot, which is padded on both sides, as well the zippered top which allows me to access both my camera or laptop from my side without having to lift the messenger bag flap.
Only four stars because of lack of efficient storage designs that could have been included (divider issue, no side or rear pockets, no pocket on flap).

What's not so great: Not enough pocket space for accessories, inefficient design

Perhaps the best bang for buck all around lens
on February 19, 2014
Posted by: p00kienrayray

First off, I am somewhat of a DS:R beginner, and this lens is pretty simple. Bought this just to pair with my already small Rebel SL1 crop body, and I love the portability. Even with a protruding filter on it, the lens is still low profile.
Build seems solid despite it being plastic. Mount is metal, and goes on body with a tight but snug fit. Thin focus ring is made of textured rubber, and feels smooth but not loose.
Image quality is pretty impressive. GREAT bokeh can be achieved. This is not a macro lens, but I am able to take beautiful shots from about 8 inches away from subject. However at this close range, I have to use manual focus, as auto will not pick it up. Speaking of which, auto focus is rather slow, so not really a good lens for action shots.
Because of size and portability, this lens is great for a "walkaround" lens. I bring this lens mounted on my SL1 almost everywhere I go, and snap away using only one hand like its a point and shoot!

Great Value Zoom Lens

Bought this bc of Best Buys Camera/Lens deals. Great reach and image quality. It's pretty lightweight, almost like a kit lens, but that's because of the all plastic body. Wish they would have at least included a metal mount for it. Kind of concerned about cracking the mount when accidentally dropping or hitting it against something. Also, when I put the dust cap back on the mount, it's pretty loose, which isn't reassuring when storing in my bag.
All in all, still a good lens for the money.

This filter adds flares to images when pointed at light source. Kind of disappointed as it says it's multi coated. Oh well you get what you pay for. It has pretty good threading and build quality. Useful as protection from dirt on lens. Not bad for price paid.

I'm impressed. Canon was able to shrink their solid entry level DSLRs into a smaller body without really compromising much besides the articulating LCD screen. Battery life is descent, holding with average sized hands takes a bit to get used to, but feels ok. The photos and features are pretty nice, and I love the smartphone-quality touchscreen. I thought Canon was going to compromise a lot to fit in a smaller body, but apparently not. I like that this camera fits into a lot of smaller camera bags that weren't meant for DSLRs.

I see the flares that some experience
on January 22, 2014

I bought a pair of these yesterday and immediately put them on. They are built from solid materials. I almost wanna say the ring frame is aluminum because it is a lightweight but tough metal. Threads are nice, and I didn't really have a hard time putting them on and taking them off.
However, I immediately started noticing flares in my pics, even in low light pics. Nothing too major, just one spec, that to me only stands out in dark backgrounds. Which is due to the fact that these aren't coated. They haven't bothered me yet, but if they do, I'll just take em off and shoot with a bare lens. It's highly debatable whether a scratched/dirty bare lens would actually affect image quality anyways. Nevertheless, coated or uncoated, a product specifically made to go over a camera lens should not degrade image quality.

What's great about it: build quality, simple
What's not so great: Adds light flares/reflections to some shots

Smart and simple storage.
on January 16, 2014

This sling bag fits my canon rebel sl1 with kit lens attached. Requires a tad bit of wrestling to get it out but nothing major. Fits at least 2 xl lenses in the pocket outside of the camera compartment, but there's no padding there. Inside that pocket there is a zippered mesh pocket where I store my sd card, battery, and charger. What really won me over was that I can fit my Chromebook laptop, which measures 12" into the tablet compartment, but not without some wrestling. Drawbacks are that the strap is difficult to adjust, and it needs more small pockets to store phone, wallet, keys, etc.

You know, if you have a problem with Windows 8, you shouldn't give this good product (according to other reviews)1 star just because of that. The OS is the same OS found on other laptops on the market, so you giving low rating for that makes the computer seem an inferior product in comparison to other Windows 8 laptops. Just a consideration.

Excellent for the Money!!
By BobReview from Chicago
This chromebook is great for the money and the new model is a great deal because of the upgrade to a 8.5 hour battery life, bluetooth that supports audio, and a great keyboard. I wanted something I could simply use to surf the internet and not be tied to wires etc while still being portable. An ipad obvisously has more power and capability but you really are going to pay through the nose for it while still most users do mostly internet browsing. For $200 it's hard to walk away from this deal given it has everything most users need on a daily basis to do the basics. In my opinion it is comparable to a macbook air 11" but a fifth the cost. I'm an apple fan, but I really think for the smaller macbook air and ipads you pay a premium for a product that is still limited to larger macs and other pcs. Obviously the chromebook is more limited but packs in all the important things most consumers need to make it a great value worth picking up. To wrap up I was stand offish of these because they still lacked the battery life, bluetooth, and usb 3.0. This brand new model now has all those things which I think make it much more usable and convenient.

Any issues with 2GB of RAM?
November 23, 2013
The only thing keeping me from jumping at this Chromebook is the 2GB RAM. I know I can grab a 4GB RAM model for $249, but the $199 price tag is what makes it special. I'm mostly concerned about lag while browsing graphic-intensive websites, or streaming youtube/netflix. I know the ARM processors in the other Chromebooks were having these issues, but how is the Haswell in this one?

Perfect everyday quick laptop
By p00kienrayray from Long Beach, CA
This is perhaps my favorite non-smartphone device of all time! Let me start with the price, $200 is a steal considering how great this little laptop works with ChromeOS.
Lets start with the hardware. Perfect size and weight for on-the-go. 11 in. is just right for me to view content on display, and although it is not IPS display, it is crisp and bright enough for the average user. Sound is ok too.
It also have sufficient work space for typing. The chiclet keyboard feels raised enough and solid enough for quick and comfortable typing when I work (yes, I use this laptop for work!). My only gripes with the keyboard is the lack of caps lock key. Touchpad is average, no complaints there. Webcam is clearer than what I had expected from a budget laptop.
Love the hdmi port to play movies on tv, and the SD slot to import photos from my card. Wish it would've had a micro USB charge port like the HP 11, but oh well. I don't think battery actually gets me a full 8 hours, but it'll last an impressively long time (maybe 6 hours). Laptop is quiet and doesn't really get too hot.
For the software, Chrome OS boots up QUICK. Ridiculously quick. The OS seems very well optimized for this low-spec hardware, which creates for a premium experience. I've always used Android, but am relatively new to Google's ecosystem with using Google drive and all, but it fits well with this laptop, and syncs beautifully with my Android phone. I have so much to praise about Chrome OS, but I am not here to talk about the OS.
Now the reasoning for me only giving 4 stars may not apply to everyone. Actually, I feel like I should only dock half a star for this. Firstly, although the intel chip and 2gb RAM makes this fly when using Chrome OS, streaming via Chromecast is somewhat choppy (which is why I use HDMI)...Unacceptable, Google products should work flawlessly together regardless of specs. There are reports that the 4gb RAM version doesnt have this issue. Secondly, the styling is horrendous. But the more I use the laptop and enjoy it, the less I'm bothered with it.
In short, this is a very capable and practical little laptop thanks to the simplified and user-friendly OS. The low price adds some SERIOUS value to it. I ended up giving my iPad away to my brother because I enjoy using this Chromebook so much. I think Chrome OS and Chromebooks are headed for a bright future, and the C720 is a great step.

UPDATE from my review.
January 22, 2014
It's been about 2 months now and I STILL love this thing. I carry it with me everywhere I go. I've gotten over the fact that the body design is ugly. This little computer is so simple, practical, and inexpensive that it has become my favorite ALL TIME electronics purchase ever! That's saying a lot since I consider myself a gadget enthusiast.
I must note that viewing angles on the screen is pretty bad, but for sitting on your lap or on a desk in front of you, it's fine. I've done work with this laptop using my work's web-based database, and excel (Google sheets), this thing keeps up with windows. But I don't really recommend working with Google docs, because it needs to be more refined.
I found that I use Google drive more often now. I store LOTS of pictures either uploaded directly from my smartphone, or from an SD card. I carry this laptop along with my DSLR camera in a camera sling bag. So if I wanted to, I can take pics out and about, then plop the SD card into the Chromebook which is tethered to my phone. From there, I can store, share and edit quality photos! Not that I do this often, but it's just cool that I can on the go--and out of a $200 laptop!
For those who has bought into the Google ecosystem, this laptop is a very inexpensive must have. For those who haven't bought in, it is a great low-maintenance laptop for surfing and watching youtube/netflix.

I am considering these as a xmas gift for my bf. His personal cell is a Samsung S5, but his work phone is an iphone6. He uses both for headphones, so I'd like a pair that is compatible with both devices. Considering these or the wireless Bose.... Thanks
Yes, I'm using it with an iphone 5s and an Apple watch. I really do recommend these if your bf likes bass. I'd say the Bose has better clarity, but the Sony is not bad at all. Plus the blows the Bose out of the water in terms of bass, and $$.

I am interested in these headphones. I plan on keeping these for a good three years. Does the Geek squad protection cover accidental handling damage like if I drop them and they break and or I spill coke on them would it cover that OR just an extended warranty as long as they are not damaged by accidental breakage/damage???
No, they are just extended warranty. I'm not sure why they don't offer accidental damage coverage, but I checked and they do not.

Are these headphones noise cancelling?

No they are not. But the cushion design allows noise isolation, meaning you will hear very little ambient noise, if any.

Is this Chromebook compatible with PDF docs?

I am looking to use it for business, would like to know if its compatible with PDF?

Mainly because I will be needing to download, edit and print PDF forms from the Secretary of State.
Yes it's PDF compatible. But keep in mind that this is a light work computer, meaning that although it can do what you need it to do, I wouldn't recommend it for heavy duty work. I would only recommend this for surfing, storing pictures (in the cloud), youtube, and light work (documents here and there).

Does this chromebook come with the built in virus protection

Does this chromebook come with the built in virus protection
The ChromeOS, which all Chromebooks run, does come in with built in virus protection. The OS is pretty simplistic, yet safe.
