The sensor and strap was very easy to set-up and even easier to use. I have had no reception issues. The unit works perfectly with my Polar RS300 heart rate monitor watch, iPhone and gym equipment.
What holds be back from giving the unit a 5-star rating, is not the unit itself, but the Polar App that it links with. I would think that the leader in heart rate monitor development and long-term name in the health & fitness measurement business would have one of the better apps on the market. Sadly, the app is fairly basic, What it does, it does well, but it doesn't even allow customized workouts, like having an integral timer.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great product and glad that I bought it. I just feel like Polar could offer even more.
What's great about it: Quick set-up and easy to use
What's not so great: the iPhone App could be better
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great early step to healthier living

I bought this for the family as a Christmas present. Christmas day Withings had major issues with their web server and the set-up was very tedious and we actually gave up that day. Withings actually acknowledged the problems and when we went back the next day, we had no problem. Since the initial set-up issues though the scale has worked flawlessly. The web & app sync is very helpful and makes tracking weight and body mass very easy. My only wish is that their was even one great app out their that synced the scale, exercise and meals better than what I am finding.
What's great about it: easy to use once set-up
What's not so great: wish that it integrated with even more apps & sites
I would recommend this to a friend!
