This 10" subwoofer features 350 watts of peak power for explosive bass with reduced distortion and a heavy-duty, long-excursion polypropylene woofer cone for powerful sound.
For under $200.00 you'll be hard pressed to find anything better. For subs in the $400 to $500 price range it is on par or even better than most of what I have heard in the store. I use my surround system mostly for movies and this sub provides great low end frequencies with ease.Explosions sound great and come with authority. This sub has plenty of punch. I have it in a room that's about 21x14 square feet. No port noise, no fluttering and no boomy box sound. It sounds great on my Yamaha 5.1 surround receiver. Just pure low end bass reproduction. I did my research and read tons of home theater forums and BIC America was always one of the subs under the $200 range that came up. A lot of audiophiles were always pleased with the results and highly recommended the brand. I couldn't be happier with the product. The sub enclosure might not be a decorative piece of furniture but it is made from real wood and has a nice finish to it. Nothing like the other subs I've seen in it's price range that use laminate to hide the cheap particle board. All in all if you decide to purchase this product it will leave you with a great mind of satisfaction. What I've read from the other reviews they are all spot on with their assessments of the BIC performance. Awesome sub!
What's great about it: Great sound, unbeliveable for the price, quality
What's not so great: bottom feet would be better if rounded
