My old Dell XPS 17 had only 4GB RAM and was slow of course. I was ready to put it out to pasture, but decided to try upgrading the memory on it, especially since the MEMORY PRICE was SO GREAT!
Well, that was money WELL SPENT! My laptop performance increased so much it went from painful to pleasant.

An office printer that works with Windows 10

I did a lot of researching online before I bought this one. Quality is great, price is awesome, and WORKS WITH WINDOWS 10.
To my dismay I discovered when I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 (for free) I found out my old printer was not supported on Windows 10.
Well, this Canon mfc multifunction office printer works great on Windows 10. I am able to not only print, but scan over the network and fax as well.
It works flawlessly...

The store I work for had a stereo system with 4 generic speakers. One day all but one of the speakers blew and the last remaining one sounded horrible.
I was given a budget of $125, and I figured go to the Best Buy right there by Pearlridge, just MINUTES from the store.
BOY was that a great idea! I didn't expect to find a great brand like POLK at such an amazing price. I bought a pair, took them back to the store and hooked them up.
Wow, did the stereo COME ALIVE! I love these speakers...

Lots and LOTS of space for such a small form factor. I have it hooked up to my router which allows me to use it as a network storage. The fact that this drive does not require a power connector makes it really easy and convenient to use. It's very fast as well. I replaced my 1TB with this 2.5TB and copying files transferred at over 80MB/sec with no problems. No guarantee on the speed, as some computers may have USB 2.0 ports. I was using the USB 3.0 ports on my laptop to transfer.
Another nice thing about this drive is it responds to sleep commands when not in use. The blue activity/on light goes off when it goes to sleep so I know it works. My old drive used to run and run, and as a result, it ran hot most of the time. This drive only spins up when in use so I can leave it plugged in all day long.

Not only is the signal nice and strong, it comes with a desktop mount, which is essentially an extension cord and stand.
The stand is sturdy and perfectly weighted so you can place it on the top of the desk in situations where the desktop PC sits somewhere under the desk or tucked away somewhere.
As a result, you have the versatility of putting the WiFi dongle wherever the signal is best.
It works great without the extension as well. I have two of these and one of them I installed directly without the extension and the other I made use of the extension.
In both cases the adapter works flawlessly.

I don't know if this model has been improved and the photo is an old one, or I was just very LUCKY.
When I picked up my SD from BestBuy (I order online a lot, in-store pickup), I was shocked to see my Ultra PLUS label said 80MB/s instead of 48MB/s.
It's a pleasant surprise, of course. Also the performance is awesome, so it's not a misprint.

amazing drive, VERY fast and reliable

Considering a drive of this size used to be over $400 not too long ago, I'm glad the prices have come down where it's in reach for those of us who are, let's say, financially challenged.
Besides the amazing price, the speed is amazing as well. I was working on a Dell Inspiron laptop with a crashed hard drive, and I figured buying a SSD was a good choice since the hard drive crash was a traumatic experience.
I was right. This SSD is rock solid, no problems. An added benefit is the speed. No regular hard drive could be this fast, especially not a laptop one. Windows boots up in seconds. I can actually patiently stare and count, and it can go from cold OFF to ON and running very quickly.

These batteries are actually better than the more popular brands, in my opinion.
They are clean, strong, and last long.
I am now a fan. Whenever I see a deal on the various sizes, AA, AAA, or other, I will snatch up any size I don't have or am running low on.

Insignia. When I saw it online I didn't believe my eyes at first. I have an Insignia TV I purchased at BestBuy, so it came as a shock to me that they make household items as well.
Very easy to use, push button flip top, small lightweight docking base, flip on/off switch, and blue indicator light. All together great design, no guesswork wondering if it's on or what it's doing. Oh yeah, automatic shutoff as well. No worries about the water cooking until it all evaporates.
Oh yeah, the side window allows you to see how much water you have, that's nice. The window also gives you a look at what's going on inside. You can actually see the water boiling. When you flip the lever, the water heats up fast. You can hear the water boiling and SEE it as well.
Overall great design. I had tried the Rival electric tea kettel before and didn't like it (not from BestBuy) I ended up returning it since I got a dud.
This Insignia is 10 times better and at a great price!

How close to the Wifi does the machine have to be??? My wifi router is upstairs and I want to use this printer downstairs in my office.
As long as your office does not have 18" concrete between the upstairs and downstairs, and the router is placed as high as possible and unobstructed, it should work.
If signal is too weak, the Netgear Powerline adapters or Zyxel work through brick walls through the power outlet lines. But I think it should not be needed if your computer downstairs can connect to the WiFi with a good signal.
If your computer downstairs in the office is hard wired to the network, I suggest hooking up the printer to the hard wire connection as well, if at all possible. Scanning works best when you have a good connection, and scanning over weak WiFi might be a problem...

When will we be able to have the pilot for windows 10?
I've upgraded to windows 10 but I've lost many options that I had with my windows 7.
I've looked in my installed programs list and there is no Brothers printers installed. On pilot upgraded there is nothing for windows 10.

How do I fix my Backup Plus Slim portable Drive if it stops working?
Comment on computer says No Backups for 12 days. There was a message that said disc improperly ejected.
Best bet is make an ubuntu live cd or startup USB. I personally would use a 4GB or 8GB usb. I had to recover data from many hard drives as they fail and ubuntu lets you copy and retry without aborting the entire process, that way you can start copying, and the hard drive flakes on and off, you just have to keep retrying.

Can I use the Seagate on my Mac Air without an apple time machine and if I don't need the time machine can I do a complete backup without the drag ?
Do I have to have an apple time machine with this Seagate to back up my mac book air? And if I can just use the Seagate without the time machine can I set it to do a complete back up periodically without having to drag and drop?
The drive comes with a Seagate Backup utility which is better than drag and drop. It comes with both versions Windows and Mac.

The description of the product says SDHC but the picture says SDXC. Can you tell me is this SDHC that I'm buying or is it SDXC. SDHC is what's compatible with my tablet
As long as your tablet says it supports sdxc cards, it should be fine. My Android phone shows 120GB after it's formatted. So YEAH it works!
