Best sounding ear bud out there, very strong bass
on February 21, 2017
Posted by: Gadgetman
Very strong bass, sound is phenomenal and loud. If the bass sounds tiny for you as another reviewer said, you don't have a good seal with the buds, try a different size. When the seal is good, the bass is very strong, it feels like you are at a concert. The bass feels stronger than the powerbeats 3. Blows the LG tone platinum's. I like the wrap around your neck style, as it's comfortable in the office and does not rub against your collar like the powerbeats or jaybird x3. Also there is wing tips provided to get a better grip in your ear when working out. When you touch the cable or it rubs against your cheek, the sound is not amplified into your ear. The Jaybird's x3 had this problem which was very annoying. Charges 0 to 100% in under 30 min, very fast charging.

Best 6 inch GPS currently on the market
on September 28, 2014
Posted by: Gadgetman
I have been using this GPS for a couple of weeks now, it has been very stable, the screen is double the resolution of the 25xx series, at 800x480. Its screen is bright and has good viewing angles, colors are very saturated compared to the poor 2013 models like Nuvi 2597 or 2557 that have a very poor contrast that the 2014 models have replaced. Screen is multitouch, bright backlight and comparable to the Nuvi 3597 in screen quality. The screen has glass so it's very reflective, if you put an anti-reflective screen filter, that solved it for me.
Voice command feature works pretty good, if you are saying an address, say it fast with street name, city and state without pausing and it usually works, if you pause when saying it then it thinks you are done and will usually end up with strange addresses.
Navigation is very good with very human sounding and clear sentences, no issues, POI database is huge, now Foursquare POI is also added to it, It has been able to find anything I have searched so far, even some small restaurants that I didn't think would be in its database.
Voice volume is very loud, I usually keep mine at 60 % and sound does not distort when you crank the volume to 100%.
The traffic receiver is built into the unit so the power cable does not have a bulge like some older models and is small profile. So far when it has told me of a delay, they usually is. The screen is large enough to snap the Up Ahead feature or more driving indicators to the right side of the screen without affecting the display map area.
So far I have been happy with all the features ... To many to list.

Great idea, poor exeution
By bearbait
Typical great Garmin® GPS performance, dash cam works great too. If it were only possible to SEE THE DISPLAY in bright sunlight! Probably going back due to this design flaw. Folks, the display is extremely glossy, in fact, its a freaking mirror! Bad design choice on a great idea.

Buy an anti-reflective screen protector.

They make anti-reflective screen protectors that will solve your issue. I have one on mine and it works great, no reflections.

Listen to music hands-free with this LG wireless headset. It lets you answer or ignore a call with voice commands, and the wireless earbuds charge when they're resting inside the neckband, ensuring they're ready for use. The neckband of this LG wireless headset provides vibration alerts for incoming calls and texts, so you'll never miss a message.

Wireless earbuds that actually work
By SilvrSabrCELICA
Just got these guys right as they came into the store, and so far i am very impressed. The neckband sits nicely around the neck and slight bulges at the end so I can tell it wont slip off to one direction like past Tones have done, and has been and issue for me before. This is a much better design than the previous models, as the neckband is light and feels actually better constructed than say, the Tone Platinum's.
So far, we are assuming to look at the headset as if it was no different than past Tones, but just new... however that is not the case! The earbuds in these guys are now fully wireless and its awesome. They fit great and are super light and not at all bulky or obtrusive like i was sure they were going to be from the pictures, so i am very impressed the with the earbuds. Battery life is still kicking so far on five hours of use and the little woman in your ear is still telling me the headset is at medium battery!
So, fit and finish is great, and the wireless earbuds are more comfortable and usable than say, the Apple Airpods, or Gear IconX (more similar to the IconX though) so hows the, oh i don't know, audio quality??
Well, I am pleasantly surprised here. Audio quality is sharp and all around pleasant, with good solid clear bass, wide mids, and sharp, precise highs, that leave you with a sense that you are using upper scale wired headphones... a feeling that i have not received from Bluetooth earphones in a while. One note here on the audio quality... the bass is very clear and responsive and packs the punch that it should to be very realistic... however, if you are they type of person that just runs out and buys the latest Beats because everyone else you know has them, and has become accustomed to their extremely poor bass reconstruction that is "Loud" or "thumping" please keep in mind that that kind of loud thumping bass is actually not what someone who cares about audio quality looks for, and these do not provide that. They have a nice thud when needed, but are not going to stop the old guys next to you's pacemaker... these are accurate, not "loud" or "thumping."
Tl;Dr
These headphones provide fantastic all around sound, are comfortable and lightweight, great battery life, and the wireless earbuds are the first set that i have used that actually work as you would hope they would, and don't need some silly box to charge them and don't make you look like a dork with "Airpod sideburns."
Wonderful headphones so far, I definitely recommend.

Battery life
April 2, 2017
Per spec, it says battery life is up to 3 hours per charge, charging in the neck band. How are you getting 5 hours continuous use?

EA9500's Mini-Me
By cjviscito from Dallas, TX
I was impressed with the features and performance of Linksys' EA9500, so when I saw they released the EA9500's little brother in the EA9300, I thought I'd give it a try. I'll be comparing the two routers together and pointing out the pros/cons between the two.
For starters, the EA9300 is a bit smaller than the 9500 - but it's still a big router. The 9300 sports 5 gigabit ethernet ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports and 6 adjustable antennas. The 9500 sports 10 gigabit ports and 9 antennas. So it's a little smaller, but it's still about the same size as a dinner plate in terms of diameter. Where ever you put this router, make sure you have plenty of space.
From a setup stance, the Linksys mobile app is a bit messed up. I found that setting it up using my laptop was a much more straightforward process. I was a bit bummed to that there was a firmware update for a new router right out of the box. So I had to download the update and apply it first before I could actually finish setting up the router. Once I finished the setup on my laptop, I was up and running using the Linksys app. The app is nice because, using a Linksys account, you can monitor and control all functions of your router even if you're at work or anywhere - you don't have to be on the wifi network.
So who's this router for? If you're someone who has a lot of wireless devices, streams video and has a larger house with more rooms, this router is perfect for you. Linksys bills this as one of their routers that's perfect for streaming 4K content - but that's only if you have internet coming into your house at a bandwidth that supports 4K streaming from a 4K source. I don't, but I love that no matter where I am in my house, I can walk all over and there's no dead spots.
With a 2.4GHz and dual-band 5GHz bands, MU-MIMO AC, and BeamForming - with a router like this, you won't have a need for a wireless extender or repeater.
The biggest con in the 9300 versus the 9500 is the 9500 has 10 gigabit ethernet ports. I prefer having my A/V and gaming equipment to have hardline connections to reduce lag and buffering. So with the 9500, I can have my 4KTV, UHD Player, Apple TV, PS4, PS3, X-Box One S, Arlo Camera Base and AirPort Extreme (For wireless TimeMachine support) all connected and leave the wifi for laptops, iPads, iPhones and other devices that are geared more towards wifi. With the 9300, I don't have enough ports to have everything physically connected - but you'll have to decide if that's worth the extra $100 between the 9300 and 9500.
If you're in the market for a new router and you have multiple wireless devices, stream content from Hulu, Netlix, HBO, iTunes, etc, then you owe it to yourself to check out the 9300. It carries a hefty price tag at $300, but with it's specs, it's also a significant upgrade from any wireless network setup most internet providers will give you.
Pros:
* 5 gigabit ports
* Tri-band (1-2.4GHz and 2-5GHz)
* Mobile App support
Cons:
* Setup with app is cumbersome
* Fewer ports than the 9500

EA9300 has beefier internal specs
June 9, 2017
May also want to mention that the EA9300 has a 64 bit Quad Core 1.8Ghz Broadcom processor whereas the EA9500 is a 32 bit Dual Core 1.4Ghz Broadcom processor. In my testing I found the EA9300 to be more responsive than the EA9500 in ping times, web browsing, and multi tasking several devices.
