Works great! A must for use on newer Sony cameras that support native PDAF with adapters (A7RII, A7SII, A7II, etc). I'm using it on an a7II with the 70-200 2.8 G and works great. Used to use the LA-EA4 before the firmware update on my camera. Can't say focus is much faster if at all faster, but I did not like being limited to small number of focus points on the LA-EA4. Nevertheless, still have the LA-EA4 for use on my a6000 which needs the LA-EA4 focusing system. With the APS-C sensor though, the focus points on the the adapter cover more of the frame than on Full Frame, so I don't mind the limited points as much.
