Kitchenaid has rolled out it's first new suite of small cordless kitchen appliances. There is a hand blender, hand mixer and I have the food chopper. I had gotten rid of my food processor a while back since it seemed to burn out so I thought this would be a good replacement, being cordless and compact. The chopper has a 5 cup capacity and will chop, mix or puree.
Power- A full charge will take about 2 hours. There is a battery indicator light which is helpful, and will turn green when fully charged. It recommends to charge it when the light turns yellow to maintain the best battery maintenance.
Usage- The one thing I had trouble with was figuring out how to unlock the lid. The directions say to untwist or twist to open or close and it wasn't budging. After struggling for a few minutes, I had to have my husband do it. What I didn't realize is that it actually "slides" open or closed. The black bar on the side of the lid, over the handle just needs to be pushed towards you and it will unlock so you can open it. To use, just lock the bowl into place, add your blade or whisk attachment, throw in your food to be chopped and lock the lid on. There are 2 power settings, basically a high and low, and it turns on and off by pressing down on the top of the lid/handle, which powers it. It chopped up my onions great and then when I put the jalapeño in, it wasn't quite enough for the blade to grab all of it, so I had to throw some onion back in to chop it more thoroughly. I like the power being located on the handle, because it gives you a lot of control to pulse and chop to your desired fineness. Besides just onions, the chopper would be able to work on other veggies, nuts, crackers and bread. It can even make dressings because there is a drizzle basin in the lid.
Cleaning- It's easy and low maintenance. The base needs to be just wiped down with a damp cloth. The bowl, lid, blade, whisking accessory and drive are all dishwasher safe (top rack only) to make clean up a breeze.
Besides the minor lid confusion I had, this is a great little chopper if you don't want to hand chop everything. It will certainly be a time saver. It's conveniently cordless and compact.

The Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard case is the is the perfect accessory for your iPad. It's a full case that covers the front and back of your iPad but it is also a full size keyboard with a trackpad, so you are able to convert your iPad into more of a laptop feel and function. It gives you the option to remove the keyboard if you don't want to use it and have attached at the moment. It will leave the screen unprotected but not as cumbersome. The case is textured and has a cloth feel. It reminds me of tweed. It feels somewhat heavy in weight because of the keyboard, but also seems durable. The keyboard keys are smooth and easy to type with. I am picky about keyboards and like this one. It's also backlit so visibility is easy in low light. The adjustable kickstand gives you 4 different modes- typing, watching, sketching and reading for full range of use. If you have a Apple Pencil, there's a loop on the side for your to store it for easy accessibility. There are no batteries included because they aren't needed. The keyboard pairs and then powers directly from the iPad.
I would highly recommend you run out and buy this for your iPad if you use it to do any typing, sketching, watching or reading. The Logitech Combo Touch Keypad Case will help you be productive while being comfortable.

I highly recommend this Nerf blaster to use now in quarantine and all summer long! This has been a much needed bit of fun for my kids. My 5 and 7yr old are nicely sharing and taking turns with it and they love it!
The one downside that could be improved is that it does not come with the batteries that are required. You will separately need 4 AA to operate it. But other than that, it's been so good for them. All you need to do is install the batteries, load the clip with darts (10 max), insert it into the blaster and start playing. To have it fire, it's a 2 part method. Hold down the acceleration button to activate the motor and then pull the trigger. It will fire 1 dart at a time. There is also a sliding door to access any jammed darts. I appreciate that feature the most. Nerf guns do jam and this makes it so much easier to fix.
The Nerf Fortnite AR-Rippley Motorized Elite Dart Blaster looks cool especially if you are a Fortnite fan. The blue color palette will easily remind you of Fortnite. The ends are opaque blue with the middle being clear. I love seeing the mechanics inside of the nerf gun.
The Nerf Fortnite AR-Rippley Motorized Elite Dart Blaster will provide endless hours of fun. I highly recommend it.

Operations-
There are 2 options with the timer. There is a basic 2 minute timer will let you know when the recommended time has been reached. The professional setting buzz and flash light to let you know to move to the next section of your mouth for a slow calculated cleaning. The timer will pause if you briefly turn off the handle while brushing. There is also a sensor to let you know the pressure is too much with a red light. There are 6 different cleaning modes- daily clean, pro clean, sensitive, 3D white, gum care and tongue clean. There are also 3 other brush head options you can pick up in addition to the 3 that are included with this kit.
Travel Case-
The travel case is pretty sweet. There is a USB port built in so it has charging capabilities for your toothbrush and your phone. The case has a spot to hold your smart phone upright for best viewing of the app while brushing. The removable inlay of the case is dishwasher safe which is super convenient since it can get pretty messy.
App-
Oral B offers a free app to assist you in your total oral care. It will coach you to brush like a professional with specific feedback and advice based on your behavior. It has AI brushing recognition so it will detect where you're brushing and where you're not and adjust times accordingly. There's a diagram that will show you the location of where the feedback is concerned about. It even has the ability to use your phone's camera to determine your brushing position. You can set goals and review your activity. The advanced technology provides gum protection by evaluating your personal style. It will give you a brushing score so you know how well you did.
Cons-
The vibrations of the handle and toothbrush head take quite a bit of getting used to. It's not as smooth as I would like it to be. I like to use the app at night when I'm more alert and awake. In the morning I never feel like I have the energy yet to deal with the app.
Pros-
You are able to customize your total brushing experience. The variety of brush heads combined with the brushing modes, used together with the OralB app will give you a professional experience.

Google - Pixelbook Go 13.3" Touch-Screen Chromebook

Design- The Google Pixelbook Go 13.3" Touch-Screen Chromebook is all black. I don't love the all black color because I feel like it looks cheaper and is less quality than it really is. I would have personally preferred a sliver/chrome color. The top is smooth and the bottom has grooves on it. I think that the grooves are supposed to help with stability so it doesn't slide off of surfaces because it doesn't have any feet on the bottom. It's super lightweight and thin. The Google Pixelbook Go weighs just over 2 pounds and it's half an inch in thickness. It's built with travel and portability in mind. The keyboard has a nice typing feel to it and it's backlight for easy visibility. I'm super picky about keyboards and I like this one a lot. The touch screen gives you more versatility and control. The screen does not fold back all the way to convert into a tablet though. That is also another feature I would have preferred. I also own the 12.3" Touchscreen Chromebook Pixelbook and that one does so I'm somewhat surprised this one doesn't since it's made for on the go. The USB-C ports are on either side for easy access for charging. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack on the left side.
Start up- This couldn't have been any easier. I unwrapped the box, opened up the Google Pixelbook Go. It booted up with about 70% power. It asks you right away to connect to your wifi, it updated to the latest version and sets your voice for recognition with Google Assistant and then it's ready to go.
The streaming on the Google Pixelboook Go has been flawless. We don't have cable but only streaming services (Amazon Prime, HBO Go, AT&T Now) and the typical YouTube videos my kids watch and we haven't had any lagging or buffering the videos that we've watched so far. The picture quality is is great with the HD screen. The bigger adjustment for me personally are the Chrome web apps and extensions. They're a regular program that runs in the Chrome Browser, to keep everything running fast and the files are safe. Some apps are already loaded on the Chromebook and there are more offered in the Chrome Web store. My kids use the the Google docs and sheets in school on a daily basis and this works seamlessly with that. I appreciate the ease and ability to do homework at home with no problems.
I would highly recommend the Google Pixelbook Go to anyone looking for a great reliable laptop for yourself or a student. I have been really happy with the Google Pixelbook Chromebooks we own. It's perfect to carry in a backpack or purse, while you're heading to work, school or on a trip. It's lightweight and works great.

The WD BLACK P10 3TB External USB 3.2 Gen 1 Portable Hard Drive is a great way to expand your Xbox One's storage for a great value. The hard drive is small and sleek. It looks like cooler than your basic external hard drive. It has a nice industrial feel to it and will fit in nicely sitting next to your Xbox. My son's Xbox One was at 97% full and with this WD P10 3TB hard drive, it allows him to add to his library without having to delete games to make room for new ones.
The set up is super easy. Just connect the hard drive to the Xbox using the USB cable and follow the steps to set it up. It didn't take long at all.
One word of warning, when you redeem the 2 months of the Ultimate Game Pass, it was set to automatically bill us after the window. If that's the case for you, you will have to take note to cancel that if you don't want it to automatically renew,
The WD P10 3TB External USB 3.2 Gen 1 Portable Hard Drive is so worth it if you need or want to expand your Xbox storage easily or use it for anything else for that matter. I highly recommend it.

This Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven is both a convection oven and air fryer. So it's great that it's 2 appliances in 1. It has multiple settings- air fry, air roast, air broil, bake, dehydrate, warm and toast. And there are additional accessories you can purchase- broiling rack, casserole/baking dish, muffin tray and a magnetic cutting board, so you can expand your cooking options.
When cooking, it's important to remember adjust the times and temps on traditional recipes to achieve the best results. The temperature has to be 25 degrees F less and 30% shorter in time. The air fry oven is easy to operate. It will make your food crunchy without all of the fat! It worked great on our fries, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks and pizza.
The size of the air fry oven is about 7 3/8" high, 19.5" across and 13.5" deep. It weighs about 27 pounds. Ninja was super clever though, and lets you store it vertical so it takes up less counter space. After use, the screen will switch from "hot" to "flip" to let you know it's ok to lift up. It pivots easily. I also appreciate that the power cord in the back can be directed to the left, right or middle with cord holders so that it can plug into your outlet no matter what direction it is from where you are setting your oven.
The cleaning up is easy to do. The sheet pan and air fry basket are dishwasher safe. The rest needs to be wiped down with a cloth. There is also easy access to deep clean the oven. Once you flip up the oven in the storing position, you push the button to up and lower the door. From there you can easily access the inside to clean it more thoroughly.
There are only a couple downsides of this air fry oven for me personally. The size because it's a bit bulky, even in the upright storing position. If counter space is precious, it will take up quite a bit of room. Also, though the trays are fairly decent in size, I have a big family (4 kids) so it's not always ideal if I need to make a lot of something. I feel like this is perfect for someone single or has a small or medium family. You can feel a little less guilty eating all of your junk food since you aren't frying any food in oil. I always hear good things about air fryers and Ninja is the best out there.

The WD My Passport portable hard drive is super sleek and slim. It's only about 3in x 4.25in x 3/8in in size. It's so small and light, it's hard to believe it has 2TB of storage.
I have a MacBook Pro and my husband has an iMac so this 2TB WD My Passport portable hard drive is perfect for us. We love to back up our computers on an external hard drive and then store it in a safe place away from the house. My Passport is so small and compact so it easily fits into our small safe deposit box. It also has plenty of storage with the 2TB so that it can be used for both. It took a few hours to back up both machines- we have a lot of photos and music. I would love to purchase another one to have with me at home so I can store all of my iTunes on there and have it easily accessible. The drive can easily fit into your bag, backpack or purse depending on how you store and transport your MacBook. I also appreciate that both USB cables were included since not everyone has a recent Mac.
I recommend this WD - My Passport for Mac 2TB portable hard drive to anyone who has a Mac. It has a great value for the size and storage.

Bose - Noise Cancelling Headphones 700
Included- 20" USB-C to USB-A charging cable, 42' audio only cable, noise cancelling headphones, owner manual, and protective case.
I have owned a few pairs of Bose headphones, but these are my first noice cancelling headphones. I was so excited for these, knowing what Bose offers.
Packaging- the box that the headphones came in had a seal on both sides that are supposed to easily tear so the box will open. However, one of the sides didn't work so well and it took a chunk of box out of it. It's not a huge deal, but obviously I would have liked the box to not look janky. Inside, is a nice slim case that zips open and closed with a cloth interior. It holds the headphones and the cables neatly. It's great for storage and travel. That way they won't get damaged or dusty.
Design- the design is sleek and attractive. I like that they are not gigantic and bulky, which noice cancelling headphones can be. The headband is not wide, only 1" at it's widest point. The size adjusts by sliding the ear cups up and down the headband instead of have another joint to extend or contract. The ear cups don't fold, they turn or pivot flat. It keeps the integrity of the headband better this way. The ear cups and the headband are very comfortable for shorter periods of time. I don't think I'd want to wear any pair all day long.
I understand nowadays every product has an app to go with it. I also am slightly annoyed that it's required instead of an optional feature. You will have to download the free Bose Music app to proceed. You can customize a name or use a preset option for your headphones. It was easy to pair them to my phones. The app will display your battery life and what song you are playing. The app will not let you customize the sounds on the app. That is something that needs to be added. I expect that from this product and brand. I also wish Bose would consolidate their music apps. I have to have a separate app for their soundbars that I own.
Controls- Everything is by touch with taps or swipes or a simple touch of a button. It take a little bit of time getting used to but probably will require more If you are left handed since the controls are on the right cup only. I don't use Alexa or Siri too often but I find that Alexa understands me better.
Sound- I think the sound quality is excellent. I am not disappointed in the 700's at all. I am not a music snob though. I mainly listen to top 40 and it's great for me. The noise cancelling works great too. I love that there are different levels - 0-10. You can also make 3 different favorite settings if you have certain specific needs or situations. Anything to tailor it to your experience is great.
I'm so glad I have these. I do recommend these if you like Bose, need a wireless noise canceling pair and can afford them.

This smart photo manager, ibi, came just at the right time for my household. I wanted something that would back up my photos so I would have easy access to them. To save room on my laptop, my husband had moved them all to somewhere that's nearly impossible for me to get to them. With the ibi, I can easily access my photos and videos online or through their mobile app and desktop app. They look and work pretty much identical, which is nice for users to manage.
Once you unpack it and plug it in, download the apps and create an account. Once that's setup it will immediately start to back up all of your photos and videos. It didn't take very long for all our entire collection and each of our phones to back up onto the ibi. One recommendation I would make, is have the person who is going to more actively manage the photos be the main owner of the account. From there you can share photos or entire albums with anyone you want.
The ibi automatically saves your photos and videos. If you delete something off a device, it will still be in the ibi gallery. You can choose to keep it there or delete it too. It will give you a piece of mind that your photos and videos are safely stored. I like that it syncs from all my devices, cloud and even social media accounts. You have the ability to upload what you need from a USB or directly from the ibi desktop app. You can control who sees your photos and who you give them to. They have set up a special private space called the Inner Circle so it's not public to anyone.
Organizing the last 20 years of photos will take some time. It pulled our photos and organized them into years, but the years don't match the year the photo was taken. It's off 1 year for some reason. So I will have to go back and fix all of them as I continue to make albums and organize everything. Even if you make different albums, it will keep the photos in the original folders as well. And those can all be renamed too for easy organizing.
I like the easy access from my laptop or phone. The setup is easy. It's great to manage an entire household of photos in one place and never worry that a photo or video is lost forever.

How load is it? I've used an Oreck XL upright and a Eureka Mighty Mite and would hope it's no louder as those. I prefer bagged vacuums but want to try the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser because of its claims of not getting hair tangled on the roller.
It's extremely loud. I also own an Oreck XL and the Bissell is so much louder.
