This tablet is too small, thick, and too heavy to be very portable. The optional Microsoft keyboard is completely flat so it's impossible to type (since you can't feel the keys).

What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: heavy, screen too small to work on

It's OK but Has Issues

1. I'm not sure if it's the screen resolution or Windows 8, but web pages look like blurry graphics instead of crisp text. 2. The keys don't stick up very far, so it's harder to type on than most computers. 3. The mouse keys are build right into the mouse pad, so you can't tell which key your clicking on. On old laptops, there was a small between the keys you would feel for so you always clicked with the correct key.
What's great about it: thin, light weight, back-lit keyboard
What's not so great: Windows 8, screen resolution, mouse, keyboard

Doesn't Even Have Features that Low-End Models Hav

My low-end Garmin can play mp3s and connect to the car speakers. This supposedly high-end Garmin cannot do either. So basically, it's very difficult to listen to music and still hear the 3597 at the same time. Garmin needs to get its act together.

I bought the Pioneer soundbar and the Bose CineMate. The Bose was twice as much money and has less features (won't play mp3s from your phone like the Pioneer). Both the Poineer and the Bose sounded the same to me.

Enhance your home theater system's acoustic performance with this Pioneer SP-SB23W soundbar, which features four 3" midrange drivers and two 1" tweeters for clear, detailed sound projection. The 6-1/2" wireless subwoofer delivers powerful low-end audio.

The paper looks great and works very well. On the plus side, it is FSC certified to have been harvested by sustainable methods (the other certification--SFI--uses very unsustainable forestry practices). On the downside, there is no post-consumer recycled content in the paper.

I use my popcorn maker only every once in a great while. After about half a year, it already quit working. Very few of the kernels pop now in the machine.

Many Cool Features; Lacks Some Basic Ones
BywmualumnusfromRoyal Oak, MI
This is my first Mac and I really like it. It has some cool features Windows doesn't have such as easier to send large files by e-mail, you can text from your computer if you use an iPhone, you can click on a phone number on a web page and have it dial it from your phone, etc. I also love the mouse features. The mouse pad is easier to use than most computers these days because of how right clicking and left clicking works on them. Unfortunately, there are some basic things it can't do that you can do on Windows. For instance, instead of scrolling forever to find the folder you want, on Windows, you can use the search feature at the top of the window and start keying in that folder name.
The metal casing of the computer makes it feel like a premium machine unlike most of the cheap, plastic computers on the market.

Update- Piece of Junk!
November 19, 2014
I need to update this review. The laptop died only 16 days after purchase! It won't turn on at all. The power on it is completely fried.
Enjoy a close shave with this Philips shaver. Three rotating heads closely follow the contours of your face to get every last piece of hair, and the lift-and-cut action gently ensures seriously smooth skin. Shave wet or dry —this Philips shaver shrugs off water thanks to the Aquatech seals, and the heads are simple to replace.

Good Quality
BywmualumnusfromRoyal Oak, MI
Replacing the blades every so often makes the razor shave like new again. However, as often as you have to replace blades and our ever increasing filling of landfills, it would be nice if they were made from recycled materials.

Packaging is Sustainable
December 9, 2014
I noticed the packaging is FSC certified which means no old growth forests were logged for the packaging. Many companies use SFI, a fake industry certification that allows logging of old growth forests and doesn't even have a tree replant requirement. I am happy Philips is certified by the right party.
