Canon Lithium-Ion Battery

The battery is made by Canon and sold for almost $100 for a 1 inch by 1 inch battery; it does have circuits in it to communicate with the video camera it's charge status; whereas the other batters that fit do not communicate with the camera on charge status.
What's great about it: seems to power my video camera
What's not so great: It's priced 3X what it should be
I would recommend this to a friend!
