I have 5 or 6 of the fireplace dvd's I've gotten over the years and this one by far is the worse. You sit and watch what must be a 1 minute loop over and over again, The music is poorly recorded a total waste of time. This one will go straight in the trash not worth the space it would take to store it ......

Truth in Advertising?

I purchased this home theater with high hopes that I had found a great system at a great price that met all of my needs. What I received was far from expected.
First, this unit is NOT wireless. Not the rear speakers. Not the subwoofer. There is no wireless adapter in the box to make it wireless either. You need to purchase the adapter for around $100 to make it wireless. More on that to come...
Second, there is NO HDMI input. There is no way to connect your cable box or game system through the receiver to achieve surround sound on those formats. The Blu-Ray receiver is stand alone with HDMI out only. To be clear, while viewing Blu-Ray movies you will have 5.1 sound, but normal television will not.
I contacted Best Buy to address the wireless mis-advertising before I even noticed the lack of HDMI inputs. Their response? I quote, "In order to achieve the wireless capability advertised, you need to purchase a universal wireless rear speaker kit for $100...or you can return it.". I was shocked that Best Buy's customer service would ask the consumer to spend additional monies to correct their error. Stuck between having no Christmas gift under the tree for the family and dipping into my budget, I went ahead and bought the wireless adapter.
THEN, I found out it had no HDMI inputs.

Terrible service

Don't you think it is kinda late after someone buys the product to say there were " Mistakes Made " The two you list were really major mistakes. I've been with Best Buy almost since it opened but have noticed in the last year service has really gone down. I have been a Silver Rewards Member for 2 or 3 years now , I won't be next year because of the problems with Best Buy and you don't seem to care....Thank god there are other places that do care.
