Convert almost any electronic device into a smart appliance with the Wemo Mini Wi-Fi smart plug. It plugs into any outlet and lets you control attached appliances via mobile devices.

Improved

I attempted to install the older version in a wall socket that was admittedly fairly far away from my router. The older model was flaky at best and would constantly disappear from the Wemo app and be reported as offline using Alexa. I tried an inexpensive range extender with no luck. It occurred to me that perhaps the newer version would have improved specs and would be worth trying. First, I installed the old switch in an outlet closer to the router and got it to work with no problems. Then, I purchased and installed the newest version in the faraway socket. Setup and installation went off without a hitch and it has worked flawlessly since.

Works great

I have had no problems using this cable with an older, first generation, jailbroken iPhone connected to a Kenwood DDX719 head unit. The 4 out of 5 star rating is because the cable itself is very big and bulky. Fortunately, the DDX719 allows for connection on the rear of the unit. The cable runs from head unit to glove box and is not exposed.
If I had to have this cable connected in the front (as many head units require) I would not be happy about it.
