Good final product, delivery/assembly terrible

My experience may have been unique because there were many people who seemed to have good experiences based on Wayfair reviews, however, I am going to share my experience with you.
First off, Wayfair and online BB products can be a pain because you cannot use certain coupons or gift cards. I could not use a $25 gift card or a 10% coupon on this product which, on a $325 product is $32.50 savings - pretty substantial. Furthermore, actually ordering was a nightmare. I went back and forth to BB several times (their original recommendation was to order it at their store) just to be told that it could not be ordered at the store and that I should order it online.
So I order it online and everything goes fairly well - minus the coupon/gift card issue. The product ships quickly and I receive it within three days - good shipping timing. The product is just left at my front apartment door with no doorbell or anything to notify me it was here, not preferable but not a big deal either. I receive the package and a few of the corners of the package look to be banged up pretty good. I hope it's nothing but as I start taking out the pieces for assembly I find corners of certain pieces to be completely smashed in. So now I need to return it. I call customer service and they were very helpful and nice and ordered me another package immediately. However, they did tell me that I needed to repackage and hold onto to the damaged piece for at least 3 weeks to give the local warehouse time to call me and pick it up. If they don't call within this time frame, then I can keep the damaged product. At first, this sounds like a good deal, but after a day of having a large, 100lb box full of damaged good that will have absolutely no value, it starts to become a pain. Not to mention, I know I am going to be the one who ends up disposing of this package - which is going to be another pain.
Anyway, I receive the new package in about three business days - another good time frame for shipping such a large product. Same delivery as before (I find it at the front of my apartment) - this time it looks to be in good condition. I start taking everything out and begin assembly. Welcome to nightmare #2. The assembly directions are missing pages, the screws are completely mislabeled, and some of the more delicate pieces are damaged. My new task for the next 4 hours becomes figuring out how to assemble this while reopening my damaged package to salvage other pieces and retrieve the instruction manual. It was a long and grueling process to assemble with all of the confusion from the directions and mislabeled materials. Furthermore, there were certain pieces that slightly damaged that I had to customize to make them work - such as the hinge on one of the glass doors that was bent and needed to be straightened out with a hammer; or the magnets for the doors to connect to that had screws that were supposed to fit through the designated holes that I needed to take a power drill to increase their diameter to squeeze the screws through. Not to mention I had to repackage the damaged product for a 2nd time just so it continue to sit and take up space in my apartment.
The TV stand does look nice now that it is finally assembled - but it was definitely not worth the hassle of getting to this point - especially when your spending over $325.00.
What's great about it: Looks great
What's not so great: Delivery and assembly was a nightmare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
