The Velodyne vTrue Studio headphones have to be one of the best headphones available on the market today. I've had many other "brands", Mixmaster's and X-10's, but nothing can compare to the sound reproduction, build quality and overall appearance, of the Velodyne vTrue. I am by no means an Audiophile, but I do know what I like to hear from a top of-the-line headphone and these do deliver. What I really enjoy about the vTrue is how well they are able to handle various types of music, from House and Jazz to Dub and Alternative. They have a wide range of sound and are a bit on the warm side. You are able to hear many different layers and levels of audio that you may have never heard before, almost as you where in the studio yourself. The bass is tight and can really pack a punch, while the mids and highs are not compromised. Comfort wise, the soft leather earcups and light aluminum chassis make them a delight to wear for extended periods of time. Priced out, they are a bit expensive, but I always say, you get what you pay for. With components derived from forged aluminum, supple brown leather and precise piped stitching, they are a head turner and will make a presence in the office. You just don’t find many headphones out there with this type of build quality. They are indeed, the “Macs” of headphones. I HIGHLY recommend them. You will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: The sound & build quality.
What's not so great: nothing

These have to be the best earbuds out there. I had them before, and sold them because I thought I would be better off getting a set of cans, so I got some SONY X's, Sony MDR-XB800's and a pair of Skullcandy's premier, top of-the-line MixMaster. All fell short of what I expected from the great sound that came from these tiny V-Pulse buds. I listen to everything from Dub, country, Christian pop, electronic and alternative. The range on these earbuds are wonderful and the bass is TRULY amazing. It's almost indescribable, very low, very smooth, not distorted and doesn't overpower the other range of music. I love them and couldn't recommend them more.
What's great about it: Overall sound, build quality, bass
Stay in tune with the beat while you heat up the turntable with these Skullcandy Mix Master S6MMFM-003 DJ headphones that feature powerful Mylar drivers for powerful bass. Built-in cue controls, microphone and mute button make mixing easy.
I've wanted a pair of MixMaster's for about 2 years now and I finally got my hands on a pair for a steal; $109.99. I was so excited to hear how they would deliver, but to my HUGE disappointment, they fell way below the mark of what I was expecting. There is NO bass response...? My Sullcandy TITANS have more bass than these do. Sad to say, I am returning them immediately. I don't recommend.
